Hands down BEST coffee in Asheville. I’ve been working from a new coffee almost every day the past few weeks and High Five (and specifically the Riverside location) takes the trophy. I had some seasonal drink that I can’t remember now but it was DELICIOUS. Their trademark apparently is sweet and salty drinks which I LOVE. Want to come back and try a popular specialty: The Weather Report. The egg/cheese muffin was great too! And the shirts with the high five and different pawsss, C’MON!
Also this location is right by the river, has plenty of room to sit outside (and inside also) and has dogs roaming free and is also super dog friendly if you bring your pup along. Doesn’t get better than this. A must if in town.

Spending a relaxing Sunday afternoon with my wife, daughter and dog on the French Broad River. I had a Chai latte and a croissant. My wife amd daughter each had a hot chocolate and a banana/chocolate chip muffin . Great service and a wonderful location. This is one of our favorite places to go.

Relax by the river with plenty of secluded spots under shade trees or at spread-out picnic tables. Stroll through the nearby park and bring along your dog, date, family, or friends.
This place has great drinks and food and is in a cool location by the river and train tracks. There is one big issue. It takes forever. Even if there is only one or two people in front of you in line, you’ll be waiting about 15 minutes for a coffee.

By far the best location for espresso and conversation and a walk along the river. Coffee is good, limited snacks and pastries.
Great experience here! Great set up inside, multiple places to sit! Customer service was great and helpful with suggestions. I got two of the cinnamon suggested drinks (added vanilla) iced! It was very tasty!! I’m hard to please when it comes to coffee!

Our friend we stayed with lives right around the corner from this spot, and it is such a cool location!!! Right on the river with loads of parking and a fair bit of seating. Great place for a picnic. Plus, super dog friendly!! Be sure to check out their drink specials.
Vegetarian options: Hummus, an assortment of jams and other odds and ends make for a solid selection depending on your needs.
Parking: It is a gravel lot, so keep that in mind if you have handicapable people in your party
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp in front, stairs in back. But the rest of the area is still accessible to wheels.
