First time at this place and it was awesome. It was packed due to March Madness going on and the server gave us the heads up that it would be 20 to 30 minutes before the food hit the table, which we were OK with. The place definitely had an awesome vibe and obviously was a local bar… Everybody seemed to know everybody. We ordered chicken wings for appetizers, which were probably the best we ever had, and the burgers were spot on. We would highly recommend and will be back.
Food was delicious and very friendly service. Very happy to have found this place! We needed a place like this is N Asheville. The price was also fair for the food, so it's nice for locals. Vegetarian and vegan friendly options as well, so it's nice to eat here with a group.
My friend and I were looking for a venue with a casual atmosphere to just "hang out" & talk & found the Village Porch using Google Search. The bartender Will was very friendly & accommodating, the food was superb & the drink selection was abundant. Very relaxing atmosphere! We will definitely go back.
