It's a great little country restaurant with some really wonderful desserts.I went there for breakfast on Sunday and saw that they had chicken pie for lunch and was disappointed that I got there too early for that. All in all it has a great atmosphere with a historical theme. Also the prices are great.

It's in the middle of nowhere but great food and service for a really good price. Better food at cheaper prices than going to some overpriced chain. The Buffalo chicken wrap is great and the onion rings are amazing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED

I decided to give this place another try. Never again! Unfriendly server. Had to ask twice for things. Not impressed with servers that ignore customers. Cheeseburger was inedible. No refill on water. Server never checked on us. Register person didn't bother to ask how our meal was. Done with this place!
Me and my family have been to this restaurant several times. We happened upon it while going to visit a place I had seen on North Carolina Weekend. Coming back we came down the road that runs next to the restaurant. We were surprised to see a restaurant out in such a remote location. Since we were all hungry we stopped. What a wonderful surprise. I have read the couple of negative reviews and it is true that there are some people you can never please. We live an hour and 20 minutes away and we choose to drive to this restaurant. Don't go there if you don't like excellent home cooking or homemade desserts. We love this place. The waitress and owner and very nice.

Awesome country cafe! Food is really good, want to be in a peaceful home like environment this is it.
I really enjoy going with my buddies eating breakfast. Nice atmosphere to grub out. Love the food, especially when its cold they light up the fire place.
We had fun. Had a lot of history photos. You could imagine all of the soldiers sitting around a campfire eating some kind goulash back in the day.

Hubby and I hadn’t been here for a while because the food wasn’t very good. So we decided to try them again and the experience was not a good one. We ordered burgers with extra sauce and got no sauce , then we ordered a basket of hot chips and they gave us fries. Won’t be going back.
This place is a Gem!!! The food is excellent and the desserts are so good...the beef strip, chicken pie. Salads, we love it!!
Nothing to write home about. Do get some sorry food some times. The owners try to save money using cheaper ingredients. Servers are allways nice.

Great spot for both locals and visitors. Super friendly staff and a large menu with lots of choices. We had the grilling pimento cheese sandwich and the buffalo chicken wrap. Both ere delicious. Also recommend the homemade chips with ranch dressing dip.
Great place for breakfast. Maybe the best country ham I have ever had!
Rustic, throwback cafe with great old pics and black and white tv shows playing. Breakfast menu was ordinary. Eggs and hash browns were flavorless and dry.
Located near several historic markers, the restaurant incorporates this backdrop with a rustic farmhouse interior and a historical & patriotic theme.Breakfast prices are very reasonable. I really liked the 1/2 size breakfast special french toast, especially the crispy bacon.
Have eaten here before and was pleased with service and food...but tonight ordered baked spaghetti and garlic bread and was not happy. I don't think this dish saw an oven at anytime and had lots more pasta than sauce. And if there was any garlic on that bread, I missed it. All in all, I was unpleasantly surprised as usually the food is really good.
