My wife and I were doing some house hunting from out of town and wanted a lunch that was not typical fast food fare. The reviews of Jannie's were generally good, so we gave it a try. We ordered brisket with baked beans, sweet tater fries, and corn bread. The service was pretty quick for a walk-up order. The brisket was really tender and flavorful and came with two sauces. The honey mustard was flavorful and had more than just the two ingredients - at least we felt that way...
I’ve ordered there 4 times. The food is delicious, esp the brisket. I would give 5 stars except for two issues. There always seems to be confusion between the kitchen and counter help. I understand the challenges of finding good help. Hope it improves soon. The other issue is that the food is never ready for pickup when the online app says it will be. My wait at the counter has ranged from 10 to 50 minutes beyond the time my order is suppose to be ready. Is there a way to make...
Tried the ribs, Cajun on the cob and jambalaya rice. Absolutely fantastic. Fall off the bone ribs had great taste and the sides had just the right amount of spice and flavor. Will DEFINITELY come back. Thank you for the great meal.
