Whenever we go back to the basics at 40 Steak & Seafood we are never disappointed. The filet with the Oscar topping and the Chicken Oscar are two of our favorites and we were not disappointed. The sauces were drizzled perfectly with just the right amount and the Decoy merlot was a great choice.

We’ve ate here a few times, fairly good value and tasty food, we’ve tried a few different steaks and sides from here and you can’t really go wrong with any of them. I was disappointed when after going a couple times I saw on their website they have a porterhouse steak special on Wednesdays, so we planned our next date night there on a Wednesday but they said they don’t do that special anymore. Our experience was decent, the service was great and the selection on the menu for food and drinks was good.

Food was disappointing. For a starter we had the seafood dip, which was served with store bought mini breads (I swear it is those Stonehearth mini naans). The dip was good but not amazing. Our entree was the $99 (at time of writing) dry aged cowboy ribeye cooked rare and we had asparagus, mushrooms and mashed potatoes as a side. Here there was a mistake,...
