In a word, delicious! We started with the mussels. I had the porchetta with swiss Chard and Polenta. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. My husband had the steak frite. The seasoning was again very good, frites were crispy, the steak was too cool for me. Overall, very good. I look forward to returning.

Went in for some single origin coffee, brought me some, then said I couldn't buy it because it wasn't "priced" which apparently only the owner can do and they don't work weekends. Go figure. As if you couldn't just price them right there and then. The gentleman who helped me was nice, but the woman was very rude and not welcoming or helpful.Then when I asked for a pour over, Apparently that, like the owner, is allergic to weekends because that's the only time they serve it. A lot of limitations to helping customers when they come in. I normally get all my coffee beans from here and come in at least twice a month for it, and food and other things. Seriously reconsidering the frequency of my attendance if all I hear when I come in is "no."
Great restaurant! One of the best in Bismarck. Food was amazing, but not surprising coming from a James Beard nominated chef. Looking forward to our next visit.

I walked into gluten-free heaven !!! The atmosphere is relaxed, and the place is spotless. Fantastic, thank you. Also, with 48 hrs notice, they will bake a loaf of gluten-free bread!!!!

Went for dinner! Would probably give it a miss .. calamari was bad, mussels , walleye and lobster paccheri were good. Lobster was small portion. Service was good. It was expensive for the price and the taste! Better places to eat in Bismarck!
Alway fun to see Jason’s latte creations. Nice atmosphere. I do think a little local art on the walls would cozy up this showcase of a location.Vegetarian options: They have so many vegetarian options. Their baked goods are fresh and amazing!

I would rate this place zero if it let me... took 10 minutes for them to acknowledge I was waiting to be seated, then didn't have any waitstaff come to the table for 15 minutes, at which point I left. Not good customer service, and it's a shame because the menu looked good.

Had an Americano that doesn’t need to be made great…it is. Avocado toast on English muffin bread was perfect —- even had a great talk with the owner’s Dad. How’s that for some cool small business stuff.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in North dakota, a must stop whenever in Bismark. The atmosphere, menu options, and staff are amazing. They always recommend a good wine paring, and I can never leave without a caramel cinnamon roll to go!
