I order food to go from here at least once a month, sometimes more often, depending how frequently I come through. I get the same thing every time. I ask for it the same way every time. I have placed this exact order 25+ times, yet to this day, it’s wrong 9 out of 10 times. How is that possible? I give specific instructions to make sure the chips & cheese are in separate containers, as the moisture from the cheese gets absorbed into the chips, creating soggy chips & dry cheese, and I specifically ask for To Go silverware. For some reason, those 2 requests are impossible to follow. Once again, right now as we speak, the chips & cheese are in the same containers, and I am stuck driving 150 miles & unable to eat my soup because there is no To Go silverware in my To Go order, for the 2nd time in a row. The chips & cheese thing is what it is & I can live with it, but how do you not put To Go silverware in a TO GO order? I shouldn’t have to tear open the stapled bags before I leave every time to make sure. I shouldn’t even have to specifically request it (not that it does any good) because why would you not automatically put To Go silverware in all To Go orders? New Ground Round commercial idea: “We have the most expensive soup in town, charging $10 per bowl, & we don’t even provide you with a spoon, so with perks like that, why go anywhere else? Come to Ground Round now!”

I haven’t been here in years. 3 millennials decided to go back to relive their childhood. I had the smash burger and it was a very good burger. I make them at home and am very picky about restaurant burgers but it didn’t disappoint. The rest of the table liked their food as well. We split the Italian nachos which were meh, not great but all in all a nice experience. Service was exceptional.

Showed up to the Ground Round shortly after their opening time on Sunday and wasn't sure if they were even open. Zero cars in the lot, not even employee's vehicles... had to check the door to see if they were open or if there was any signs. Don't be fooled by an empty lot, they are probably open. The food was good and somewhat disappointing at the same time. I had the double elk burger, which although good, wasn't as gamey as I had wanted. Could have ordered a plain double hamburger and probably wouldn't of been able to tell the difference. Sorry, but if I order game meat I want it to be gamey. I will not order it again. My mom had ordered some french toast thing off the kids menu and got the pancakes meal instead... waitress was gracious and appologized, offered to fix the issue but mom didn't want a fuss and ate the pancakes. Other than the mix up, the service was good. This experience hasn't soured me from the Ground Round, but I don't know when I will return.

The service real bad , had to ask for virtually everything. We were asked by a loud voice two tables away if things were good at our table as we were finishing up. The food was terrible to be nice . The fries were cold The toast on my sandwich was barely toasted and limp with a skimpy spread of mayo that could hardly be seen or tasted. I asked for a side of mayo and was brought a tiny little portion that did not improve anything. Then last but not least we were pressured into leaving a eleven dollar tip for a subpar lunch that totaled almost sixty dollars before the undeserved tip described above. Ya, won't be back there anytime soon.
Love their patty melt on 2 for 1 days, good servers too!

I was extremely pleased with the service of this restaurant. I was greeted immediately upon entering and the hostess was extremely welcoming/warm. My picture of my burger might be crude but it did not lack whatsoever in taste. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. The food was all hot and fresh/cooked to order. The service was quick and our server was extremely friendly. I would recommend Ground Round for lunch or dinner alone or with friends/family. I am from out of town and I was very happy with my experience. I got the haystack burger.

It took 10 minutes to sit us; to get someone to sit us; employe was on phone A waitress showed up and seated us; small table was very tight against body uncomfortable No napkins at table No ranch with popcorn as per our request Sandwich ordered Rubin very greasy messy to eat no napkins to use Chicken tortilla soup was horrible salty like chicken base Waitress was average informed her about soup gave us a funny look and said nothing walked away brought the tab
I will not be eating at the Bismarck ND Ground restaurant again
