I have been eating fast food for the last two weeks straight while working on the road and decided it was time to finally get a real meal. Chose Longhorn steakhouse because it was close to my hotel. Ended up coming at their busiest time but I beat the crowd by minutes. Was that at a booth right away got a beer went over the menu and chose the ribeye with asparagus and mashed potato. Service was Great, the food was passable, I have eaten at other Longhorn restaurants where the food was awesome, the steak lacked flavor and the baked potato tasted like it had been in a warmer for hours.
First visit to this location. Beautiful inside. Nice people. Just before Christmas, they had a rush, and they did warn us that the service was a bit slow. They could have brought drinks at least. We waited for quite a bit. If it wasn't a day off, I would have had to just leave. But it's the holidays, and we got to catch up on our chat while we waitedThe food was good.
