The food was amazing and our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. He had a great personality and made sure we had everything we needed.

There were 6 in our party and everyone was happy with their meals and cocktails. Service was wonderful but I failed to catch her name. We had salmon salad, hangar steak, chicken, cheeseburger and flat bread - all yum!

Ordered takeout the salmon salad and the gnocchi and wow. 0/10. The gnocchi had so much sauce you’d think I ordered tomato soup. Idk how it’s possible to make a salad taste bad but it tasted bad. I haven’t been to peacock in years cuz last time I was like ok this food doesn’t even compete with the McDonald’s across the street. Well hate to say it, nothing has changed. I value tasty food made with love. Zero taste and zero love

This is a wildly expensive place for a substandard lunch. My salmon salad was $20. The salmon may have been 3 ounces, from pre-made frozen, and not very good. There was a bowl of spinach, some sliced pimento stuffed olives, and canned tomatoes! That's it...and 2 ounces of salad dressing. I'm very disappointed.

Not Good, ordered 2 sirloin steaks came back said out of sirloin, then 1 ordered the hangar steak medium came out very rare and tough could not even cut with a knife. 2 were pecan crusted walleye no pecans and fish was deep fried not pan fried. Only 2 good meals were the burgers. Not very busy and food and drinks took forever to get. And meals all came out separately not together. Majority was done eating when last meal came out. Went out for Birthday and Graduate celebration but not again eating there Such A Disappointment

We hadn’t been to Peacock Alley for dinner in years, but were pleasantly surprised. So many appetizer options, and our dinner was great. I had a chicken special that was delicious and my husband enjoyed his burger, too.

Was definitely expecting more of a higher quality of food and service. Sirloin steak $19 didn't include anything, steak only. Mahi mahi dish included rice and a mango salsa $26... Came out I kid you not on a side salad size plate. It was an extremely disappointing experience. Definitely not worth going back. Building is nice inside...the only thing it has going for it.

Found this restaurant on yelp for a evening dinner option while visiting Bismarck. Located downtown parking was a little difficult. The restaurant vibe was good with an old fashioned feel. My waiter was very friendly and attentive. The meal was just ok. The meat was very dry, almost like it was old or way overcooked. Checked on the dessert options to find nothing was made in house. Always a good measure of a quality restaurant. It was just ok.

Peacock Alley is one of those places that you forget how much you love! My husband and I went for a late Valentine's Day date and could not have been more impressed. We sat at the bar to enjoy a couple of drinks and the Brisket Candy appetizer (incredible, btw) until the rest of our party arrived. Our drinks were well made, the bartenders were attentive, and their drink menu has a great variety. I especially enjoyed their mocktail menu! For my entree, I had a beautifully prepared Filet Mignon with Jasmine Rice! We found the price point to be extremely reasonable for the top quality food and service we received. Their GM was helping his staff throughout the night, but he made time to personally visit a few tables, which is always a nice touch! We'll be back sooner rather than later!

The menu and ratings looked promising, but the experience turned out to be a letdown. Located downtown, we spent a solid amount of time hunting for parking, but once we got inside, it was a charming little spot. We grabbed a table in the back corner with a view of the street, hoping it would make up for the parking hassle. We started with the Volcanic Peach Lemonade, and I'll give credit where it's due—it was a solid drink. The right balance of lemonade and peach, it was a refreshing start. Now, the appetizer. We kicked things off with the Brisket Candy. Smoked brisket tossed in North Dakota BBQ sauce should have been a winner, but instead, it was dry, almost inedibly so. The outside was crispy—too crispy, like it had been left on the grill far too long. It was dry to the point that it felt like chewing on sawdust. Then came my French Dip Sandwich—big mistake. I thought the warm au jus would be the perfect comfort food for a chilly evening, but the sandwich came with an overpowering herb flavor (maybe sage?). Every bite made my stomach turn. My husband tried it too and thought the herb made the meat taste spoiled. It desperately needed seasoning, especially salt, and was just bland and uninspired. I barely ate half and didn't even want to take the leftovers home. The only real win of the meal was the Buffalo Fries. They were hot, crispy, and bursting with flavor, and paired with ranch, they were perfect. If I had known how good they were going to be, I might have just ordered those as my entire meal. My husband's Chipotle Philly Cheesesteak was okay. He didn't love it, but it was definitely better than my sandwich. It had some flavor, but nothing to write home about. Overall, the food was overpriced for what it was, and honestly, we left feeling underwhelmed. The waitress was polite, but it was a bit unprofessional to overhear her and another staff member chatting politics with a patron for most of our meal.

This place is great if you want good quality food at a lukewarm temperature. We waited for an hour, watching all the lovely people around us getting their food even though they came in after us. However, we did have a reservation so they probably forgot about us. When we asked the server when our food would be ready because we had an event to get to in half an hour she assured us to stay because our food has been done but the chef won’t let it come out because his timing was off and didn’t get our meal done in one go. I personally find this hard to believe because I watched two of the tables around us get many parts of their meal separately. Overall, the lack of service from the incredibly crabby staff, fairly cold meal, and extreme wait while we watched other tables get food before us, is not worth the price of the restaurant.

We stopped in for the Downtown Burger Slam, the Dakota Grand Slam Burger is soooo good. The burger is juicy & tasty. Loved the Hot honey to drizzle as much as you like. It pairs well with the perfectly crunchy crispy bacon. Love the bun too. The fries it comes with are yummy. Ashton our server was friendly and he also suggested the smoke wings for political Wednesday wing night. Loved the smoky flavor and they are huge wings! You get your choice of dipping sauce, we loved the spicy ranch. They also come with yummy fries. Such a great dining experience.
