My first time to eat here, tried their entry for the First Annual Downtown Burger Slam and it was great. The waffle buns was a unique take on burger together with the over easy eggs and hollandaise sauce. Though the patties were a bit overcooked and the bacon not crispy overall the burger as a whole was a treat to my taste buds. I would definitely recommend it and go back for it.

They say management cares but we all know they don’t. Food is average and workers are overwhelmed, need more help and better presents of management on the floor. Article in newspaper is written very well, that does not equal to the experience when you visit.Kid-friendliness: No juice

we came out on st. paddy's day, and they only had 2 servers running the whole dining room. And they were running. Tables were in dire need of a busboy, and no hostess meant patrons were left to self organize. The poor servers were being run to death, stacking dirty dishes on a large table in the middle of the dining area with no time to take them back to the kitchen. We saw "management" come in once to void an item for another table that was forgotten/not received, and to ask if there was a clean place to seat a reservation before disappearing back to the void from whence they came. I was disappointed to see them fail to help out their staff, who were obviously struggling. They need to hire more front of house staff or better prepare for holidays and busy nights. I ordered the Hanger steak and a baked potato, but for the price, I feel like it should come with 2 sides to at least fill out the plate. No children's menu at all, so our son got to have sweet potato fries for "dinner" and we made him food when we got home.edit to respond to restaurant: it's true, i was mistaken about the date, it was the day before St. Paddy's day. We were celebrating on the weekend since everything in Bismarck is closed on Sunday. However, our waitress did tell us that there was no children's menu and that "the menu is the menu", so better training and support for your overworked servers might be a good investment of management's time.Parking: popular restaurants nearby, might need to walk a bitKid-friendliness: not kid friendly at all, but our waitress was very kind/tolerant

Burger was way over cooked talked to the cook about it. Said it was on a timer they are required by management to overcook them so they don’t get sued for food poisoning. Service is good. I liked the old menu better let you order just an item. No sides.

One of the best places to eat in Bismarck in my opinion! Might not have the biggest menu but just the best tasting food! Great drinks too!

The table was sticky, the steak was average but double in cost, the presentation was plain. A steak on a bare platter, fries in a basket. Even McDonalds does better than that. Service was fast and pleasant. It's a great historic place and neat ambiance but the price did not come close to making it worthwhile.

Great food! They need more servers, the server waiting on us was very busy, not her fault. Waiting for our food, desert and our check was slow.

Atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent! We even got a bit of a history lesson after a question about the architecture of the building. No doubt, a new favorite! ? ?Parking: Parking was a bit tricky but definitely worth it ?

Drinks were brought out incorrect. One with no ice, had extra ice. And other things. One of the wrong drinks actually had additive that can interfere with meds, and we were careful to select items that wouldn't. No offers of refills in over 2 hours. It wasn't that busy in there and seemed decently staffed. Was it brought to the attention of management, yes. And they did refund the mess up, but the attitude of him was what got my heckles up. It is a big deal for those who can get sick from added items that were not ordered. Will try it again sometime, but it will be a while.

Has not been eating here for a while just have dinner for our anniversary last night (Wednesday night) quite empty but food is still good. I think its price appropriately for local business.

Great! Seated early for our reservation. Had the candied brisket for appetizer, filet mignon for main, and gelato for dessert. Ordered regular fries and GF fries. Skip the GF fries. Just crinkle fries from a bag. Had the regular fries and was fine.

Food is good. Seem to be a low night but still give a good service to us. Order walleye finger and my wife order sautee shrimp and I order cajun pasta. For its price it comes with tons of meats and shrimp
