“I've had Pride Dairy ice cream before, but never directly from the creamery and shop. We had Juneberry Cheesecake ice cream when we stopped in and it was incredible. Can't wait to have it again!”

“Lots of good menu choices. Fun and friendly server and food came out quickly. I fully loved my Nashville chicken sandwich. My friend was a bit disappointed with her salad because some of the lettuce was browning and the ranch dressing was a little loose (runny). The shoestring fries and Marie's fries are excellent. Marie's fries are like a steak fry but flattened out a bit - kind of like a mix between a fry and chip - and they're so good. The pizza pies on the other tables looked good. I would definitely come back here.”

“First time I have ever been there was this morning 4-8-23 and I liked the atmosphere and the food is well priced! Carmel rolls are delicious and the breakfast sandwiches are very filling and delicious also. For sure will be back!!”

“Stopped here for lunch while exploring Bottineau for the first time. We weren’t sure if we had enough US cash but owner was willing to accommodate Canadian if need be. Food was just what we were looking for perfect drive inn burgers and the curly fries were a great addition. The old 50’s diner vibe is always a favourite theme of mine and this place does not disappoint. The current owners last day is today - congrats on your retirement!!! We hope the new owner(s) carry on with what has been done staff were simply amazing and couldn’t be friendlier and welcoming. We will absolutely be back on our next adventure!! Thanks again for a great lunch!! ?”

“This was one of the best bars I have ever been to in my life! Fairly priced ice cold draft beer, and the homemade chicken noodle soup was fantastic. Jeremiah the bartender is a real cool dude and pours them right. I loved all the fish pictures and mounts on the walls, the dart boards and the selection of dart accessories for sale. I hope I get to meet and shake the owner’s hand someday.”

“Always have great service when here. Wait times to get in may be a bit longer at times, but they are busy because the service is always great and the food is just as great. They hustled to clean tables, served food promptly and asked at the end of the meal how everything was. Always our go to when visiting Lake Metigoshe.”

“We took my dad to the Birchwood for a Birthday dinner and it was the best choice. Our waitress was amazing- so attentive and kind. The food was the absolute best. We had a combo of fish, steak and pasta and each one of us loved our meal. So tasty. Thanks so much! ❤️❤️”

“Quaint, busy little place off Lake Metigoshe. Serves food and ice cream. The wait is long, but worth it if you have the patience. Plenty of tables to sit while you wait or if you want to stay and eat.”

“We ate inside the restaurant as it was 20 degrees outside, which I’m realizing now that is why I couldn’t keep a hot coffee. Had an overall wonderful experience as I had the French toast Feast for only $12. Massive proportions 2 9 x 12 oval plates packed to the edges. 6 slices of 3” thick French bread. On the other was cheesy hashbrowns browned to perfection along with 4 bacon and 2 sausage links. The food was good enough that I could have still eaten when I left. Highly recommended.”

“Family friendly restaurant with a hometown atmosphere. Ashley was a great server. She is kind and friendly. She was patient and knowledgeable with answering questions. The other staff members are great as well. We were greeted upon entry and Kevin was very helpful during our visit. Our food was ready quickly and it was served at a perfect temperature as it was hot, but we were able to eat the pizza right away without concern of burning or mouths. From the first bite, everything was delicious. The Meatlovers pizza and Chicken Alfredo were some of the best pizzas I have eaten. The pepperoni was crisp on the Meatlovers Pizza and it was adequately cheesy. The amount of sauce and cheese ratio was perfect. The Chicken Alfredo sauce was not overpowering and mingled well with the chicken, which was tender and not dry as I've experienced with Chicken Alfredo pizza in the past. The pizza crust has a great texture. It is not too doughy or too crisp. It is just right and the taste compliments the other flavors in the sauce, cheese, and other toppings. The Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza was excellent as well. It has cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella cheese. Fries were ordered and they looked crisp and delicious. I enjoyed a small Taco Salad. The dish came with mild taco sauce and garlic bread. The tortilla shell had a pleasant taste. It was fried, but did not taste greasy. I found out that after frying, the shell sits to allow excess grease to be sopped up. The Taco Salad ratio of taco meat, lettuce, tomatoes, and chips was excellent! (I did not get cheese on it.) The bathroom was clean and smelled nice. When I am back in the area I will definitely return.Vegetarian options: Salad. Vegetable pizza available. Option to exclude cheese available.Kid-friendliness: There is a children's menu. Family friendly atmosphere.”

“So only reason for the 4 stars is only older woman working on weekend of high school volleyball tournament with 12 teams so high possibility it going to be busy during intermission and with town traffic. Tge older lady was a beast. Did awesome job, friendly and apologetic for the wait. A+ service. So my 4 stars comes because the reason she was by herself was because the girl who was supposed to be there went into labor at 9am. Things happen. My question on what I'd call an event weekend why would you only schedule the awesome worker with someone who is ready to pop apparently on an event weekend. And why not send her some help. Felt very bad for the woman working. She was awesome. Didn't get mad or frustrated took us all one at a time. Unfortunately we had hour break. Took 45 min to get our subs. So had to go straight back. And eat on the way. Wanted to go to Marie's but was worried about enough time. It's called fast food for a reason. Was not fast. Again to the okdervwoman who was working Jay-Z said it best..... Ladies too are pimps go brush your shoulders off. ❤️?”
