I ordered a large taco pizza for take out. It cost $30. You would think for $30, you would get a decent pizza. Well, that didn't happen. There was 3 inches all the way around the pizza with little to no toppings and the rest of the pizza had very little meat and almost no cheese. I had to add my own cheese. Your perfect hometown meal with a large variety menu. They even have a salad bar. The service was quick and friendly. What a great little place to enjoy family and friends. Pizza is amazing - get the "Once around the kitchen!"
It was my first time at this cafe, went with my kids, and I would say it won't be my last. If I find myself in Cavalier (Pembina County) again, I will surely have a meal there. Old setting Cafe looks like a family owned restaurant.The food was great, the service was even better, and the lady was very friendly and courteous without being over patronising.The atmosphere was okay and basic, for small town maybe that's all that is needed.Customers should please stop sticking...
