North Dakota friends suggested this well known local favorite and they were right on. Nothing pretentious just good old fashioned atmosphere and home cooking. Soup of the day was corn chowder; creamy and loaded with fresh vegetables. Others enjoyed typical fares of hamburgers and chicken strips. Young man who waited on us very friendly and attentive. The experience was as good as the food.
Only visited the restaurant. Very small town feel. But food was all homemade, hot and delicious. The town people are all very friendly. It seriously is a place where everyone knows everyone.

6/7/2023 The Coachman Cafe is a gem that is too easily overlooked but what a pleasant place to have a meal. We got there after lunch-time and the young man who was working the restaurant told us that every Wednesday they feature Kumlas and that there were still some available.
