Stopped by the Dawson Cafe on a Friday morning. If you are driving through Dawson, you will probably miss it. It's on the side street behind the grocery store. But you must stop if you want a good home made breakfast. This is one of those local hometown cafes where all the locals go for breakfast. It was filled with local (mostly seniors) who were more than happy to help us find a seat and to make sure our coffee cups were filled. The food was good home town cooking with huge portions. The hash browns were crispy and awesome. Definitely will be a yearly stop for us!

Old school diner with good home cooking! Standard breakfast options. Perfect off the road location as it is just off the highway.

A great little place to stop for breakfast! My son and I came by in the evening for a very late breakfast, and enjoyed our meal. It's a small-town cafe with that small town ND feel that you just can't get anywhere else.
NOT open anymore as of October 2019.
