“I haven’t been going here too long myself, but I’ve already tried a variety of drinks and this place has an amazing selection, with everything tasting good (I didn’t care much for the matcha tea latte but I won’t knock them for it because it’s my personal preference, otherwise a good drink)! My favorite drink is the lavender white mocha. Very quick and super friendly staff. 10/10 or 5/5!”

The service could have been better though. We were there around 7 and there were only a handful of tables full. It was just such a long wait every time our server left the table (to place the order, to get the food and to get the bill).
The food was worth it though, so I would definitely eat here again.”

“What a delightful discovery in Dickinson! Casa Monarca is a charming new family-run bakery and coffee spot that brings authentic Mexican flavors with a creative twist. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with beautiful monarch butterfly decor that adds a touch of elegance to the small space. It's spotless, and you can feel the passion and family spirit in every detail – from the handmade wooden frames to the warm welcome we received.

We stopped in for a quick coffee break and ended up staying longer thanks to their incredible menu. The champurrado was absolutely excellent – thick, chocolatey, and spiced just right, like a hug in a cup on a chilly day. Our server chatted with us and convinced us to try the pozole, and wow, am I glad we did! It was hearty, flavorful, with tender hominy and perfectly seasoned broth that had us savoring every spoonful. As a nice surprise, the chef sent over a complimentary tamale, which was moist, savory, and packed with authentic taste – such a generous touch that made the visit even more special.

We didn't get to the flan this time, but from what I've heard and seen in the display case (they offer innovative varieties like mazapán and pistachio), it's a must-try next. Everything feels fresh and made with love, from the pastries to the specialty drinks. Prices are reasonable, and the service is top-notch – friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing their creations.

If you're in Dickinson, do yourself a favor and check out Casa Monarca. It's already become a favorite for us, and we can't wait to go back for more bold, delicious treats. Five stars all the way!”

“I tried to hype them up on what’s up Dickinson but my experience was far too positive for that page and i didn’t think of seeing if they had a Facebook page. 🤦‍♀️ Anyway, I have to say I was very impressed with our waitress last night (1/10). I wish I would have caught her name or asked for it but I didn’t, she was the absolute BEST waitress we have ever had going there. To top it off she knew right away that she was guaranteed at least a 18% tip and she was still the best waitress we have ever had in this town knowing this. So I knew she actually cared about how we felt and how everything was. Hands down one of the BEST waitresses in this town. Now the cook, they did a fantastic job. The burger I got was not dry and the fries were perfection! Everything came out pretty quick for having such a large order and all of our food was hot. I was so amazed! I am glad I chose to give JD’s another chance. 🩵”

“I haven't been to a subway for a long time because I kind of got tired of the menu.This was the best Subway I have ever had in my entire life. It had shredded chicken and roast beef and all kinds of new REALLY GOOD stuff!NOW I WILL SEE IT IF WE HAVE A SUBWAY LIKE THAT IN OUR TOWN. I HOPE SO.

“As a truck driver, I am always on the lookout for a great cup of coffee. Yesterday, while near the Walmart store in Dickinson, I discovered Poppy's. Upon exiting Walmart, I noticed a pink little shack directly across the street from Pizza Ranch. The first thing that caught my attention was the exceptional customer service; despite assisting another customer, the woman took the time to greet me. She was sweet, kind, and had a great spirit. As I waited, her son approached, crawled up, opened the window, and handed me a slip of paper with doodles or ink stamps, which I found to be a unique touch. As he crawled down, he mentioned that it might still be wet, which I thought was a charming gesture. I ordered a cold brew with heavy whipping cream, and the coffee was amazing. However, even if it hadn't been, the customer service was outstanding. The little boy helping his mother was adorable and entertaining. I appreciated our conversation about tornadoes, and I apologize for forgetting to tip. I plan to rectify that soon. Thank you for the wonderful cup of iced coffee, the great conversation, and the smile from your son. If you're passing through Dickinson, North Dakota, I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem. Scott L.”

“The employees are great. Friendly and offered a taste of anything I was interested in. They had a wide selection of tastes of their main sausage which is a summer sausage --- garlic was the best. I was a little disappointed that a shop with a very German name didn't have some of the traditional German sausages like weisswurst, leberkase, etc. But the sausages and meats that I bought were all excellent. Beef sticks I highly recommend.”

“I have read the comments below and I am not sure if we are eating at the same place because I always get great service and wonderful food with a great smile. I am originally from Kansas and our Arby's there wasn't much to talk about but this Arby's is the best Arby's in the Nation as far as I am concerned. Maybe if you are sweet to the workers they will be sweet back to you. The food service industry is an hostile one because people are rude and very hungry and very quick to get upset if things go wrong and by the other comments I think that happens an awful lot. Awesome place with awesome food and awesome service. ���”

“Traveling thru town and I'm always looking for authentic Mexican food. This place was on point! Very delicious and ws made to order. I will say, the guy with glasses that took my to go order was not the friendliest and when I realized after I ordered that I probably don't get complimentary chips and salsa, I immediately ordered them when he came back up front and he was so irritated about it then he charged me $4 instead of the menu price of $3 and no salsa but I didn't say anything, they were good so I figured maybe he was having a bad day.”
