“I had a great experience at JD's BBQ! As the first customer on Saturday morning, Preston greeted me warmly and even offered me the pick of the music. I ordered the brisket sandwich with coleslaw, but the friendly staff offered an off-menu option that sounded incredible, called the "brisket western sandwich" : thick-cut brisket piled high with onions, bacon, and cheese.The sandwich was delicious. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender and juicy, but I would have preferred a stronger smoke flavor and a beautiful smoke ring. The coleslaw was on point too. Overall, a great choice and a fun, friendly atmosphere.I'll definitely be back to JD's to explore their other BBQ meats!“
“Parking: Depending on the time of day you visit downtown, parking can sometimes be challenging. They have a parking lot next to the building and street parking out front. It is across from the Dickinson Legacy Square, which has many public events yearly. If you plan on attending an event downtown, this is a great place to grab some food before, during, or after your stroll downtown.“
