The food is amazing. the staff are great. first time there but need to go more.

I was so incredibly impressed with this restaurant! My hubby surprised me with dinner reservations tonight and I was blown away by the food and the service! I had corn chowder, short ribs and the vanilla bean creme brule. My husband had a ceaser salad, caprese, walleye sandwich and a few bites of the creme brule! Every single thing was amazing! One of the best meals I've had in Fargo! The staff was absolutely amazing and we can't wait to go back!

Very professional. Nice date spot and wonderful food. Staff was very helpful. Very classy, will return.

We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday dinner at 84 Italian Steakhouse this past Saturday, and what started as a memorable evening ended in disappointment due to a shocking and unprofessional experience with our server.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The decor was elegant, and the initial service was attentive, making us feel excited about the evening. The food was delicious, and we truly appreciated the effort put into the presentation and flavors.

However, after our meal, our experience took an unfortunate turn. While we did leave a tip for our server, he approached us and made an inappropriate and humiliating comment. He stated, “If you don’t have money, don’t dress up and come to a luxury restaurant if you aren’t going to tip or tip well.” We were absolutely taken aback. This was not only uncalled for but also deeply embarrassing, especially in front of other guests.

What made the situation even more upsetting is that it felt targeted. We couldn’t help but feel that his behavior was because we’re people of color. The comment and attitude he displayed suggested a bias that has no place in a professional setting, let alone a luxury restaurant.

We understand the importance of tipping and respect the hard work servers put into their job. However, the way the situation was handled was unprofessional, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable.

What could have been a wonderful evening was overshadowed by this incident. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses this behavior, as it reflects poorly on what otherwise seemed like a great restaurant.

This is one of the best places I’ve been to. The atmosphere is lovely. Monte, the manager, was amazing and made suggestions as my husband and I had never been before. Our server, Molly, was attentive, helpful, and an all around jem. We had a few different things and they were all excellent but I wanted to mention a couple things specifically. The stuffed calamari was absolutely delicious. The Caesar salad was the best one I’ve had in my entire life. My husband had the surf and turf thermidor and I think he fell in love. Overall it was a really excellent experience and absolutely worth the price. I would highly recommend it to anyone with tastebuds!

Food was decent, but it was legit the slowest service I’ve ever had in Fargo. Server was clueless and had almost zero customer service skills. We ordered 2 appetizers when we ordered drinks, and the apps came out before any drinks, including tap beers and a glass of wine. Server was about as inattentive as it gets throughout the whole experience. Everything about the entire experience was so slow, we don’t plan on ever being back.

It in a hotel so you most like use it so you do not leave the hotel, it not bad place to eat but there only so much room for a dowton hotel were they need to build with lack of space

What can I say, the service and food were phenomenal. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and got spoiled. Had the bruschetta, caesar salad, gnocchi with sausage, and walleye. Then to top it off dessert was crème brûlée and cheesecake. Every morsel was scrumptious and our server,Molly, and Monte were the best! What a gem we discovered in downtown Fargo!

I went here as a birthday surprise with my partner, and we had a really wonderful time. From the chef's creation bruschetta (absolutely amazing), tasty cocktails (my partner got what he described as the best old fashioned he'd ever had, I got a french 75 and one of their summer special mocktails spiked with vodka hehe) and the perfectly cooked juicy delicious new york strips we got, it was all wonderful. The staff was super kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere they brought with them along with the owner just made me feel so welcome. Shout out to Molli, James, and Monte, who made the night so special :)
