“This place is fantastic. The tuna tartare is incredible. I've never had it with tangerines or fresh basil, but it's great- almost reminiscent of ceviche, especially if you throw a little giardiniera in there which is also wonderful, perfectly sour, and some of the best I've ever had. I ordered through DoorDash and didn't expect to get a side of bread and giardiniera with it, so this was a welcome surprise. The bread has a nice, medium-hard crust and very soft interior.

The meat and cheese plate was A+. I'm not the best at identifying cold cuts, but there was what I believe to be salami, capicola (GABAGOOOOOL), and prosciutto. The salami was rather average, but the capicola (I believe so, anyway), was very good and fatty. The prosciutto (again, I hope I'm not misidentifying any meats) had a wonderful nutty flavor. I'm even worse at identifying cheeses, but included was a soft and a hard cheese which is perfect. The soft cheese was mellow and perfectly creamy and the hard cheese either had naturally formed crystals like I've had in gouda, or nice salt chunks inside. Either way, the cheeses were amazing. It was literally exactly what I wanted to eat today. There were also more tangerines and some pecans and bread.

Lastly, the spaghetti was wonderfully al dente. Finally being able to find al dente pasta in Fargo, and not mush that you don't have to chew, is so relieving. The sauce was great. I wouldn't order it as your sole main unless you're feeling a light lunch or don't want too strong of flavors, but overall, it was a great accompaniment.

10/10 by Fargo's standards, will definitely be stopping in person.

We were celebrating our anniversary and many people wished us a happy anniversary and we received a free dessert as their gift. My husband and I felt so relaxed as we never had to ask for a refill or anything! They were very attentive! Thank you for an amazing meal!! We had the burrata appetizer, tri-tip steak, steak Diane, the soup special that was a curry soup, flourless chocolate cake, and the lemon lavender crème brûlée.”

“Came here for dinner while in North Dakota on a business trip. I was swayed by the Google reviews about the pizza but am writing my own review for the ambiance and excellent service, too.

I walked in and was greeted promptly and with a smile. My waitress was helpful, informative, and happy. Honestly, everyone who had walked by me and works here has a smile on their face - one server complimented another server loudly. You can tell they enjoy being here.

I loved the little touches - the decorations are understated but detailed. There are little blackbirds on the lamps and secret notes tucked into the brick wall holes. It’s really cute.

Last, but certainly not least, I had the special this evening which was called Date with A Goat - oh my goodness the flavor combo is incredible. Olive oil, goat cheese, figs, honey, red onion, pecans, bacon? Part of me is writing this review just so I have a permanent reference for this flavor combo. It’s SO good.

When I come back to North Dakota I’ll be coming here again. What a gem of a place.

“My husband and I had our wedding reception in the Barrel Room at Drekker and stayed in the hotel. I can’t thank the staff at Drekker enough. Everything was perfect. Our waitress in the barrel room was phenomenal, she was very friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel manager was amazing as well. She was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful. We are so very happy to have this amazing memory.”

“Was visiting from out of town and came to meet a friend. Cozy small cafe-like atmosphere. Quick service and fresh, tasty food. Had a spring roll and their pad thai with chicken. The sweet tamarind sauce in the pad thai was an interesting touch, though a bit much for me. Next time (I'll definitely be back my next time in the area), I'd get the sauce on the side to dial in my preferred balance of sweetness to the other more subtle flavors.”

“Listen here, I'm a 100% Asian dude with so much Midwest Asian buffet experience, they ought to erect a statue of me eating cream cheese wontons in some random province in China at this point. So believe me when I tell you that Royal Buffet on 32nd St in Fargo ND is not good...it's unbelievably great. The diversity in food is so great, you might as well call it Affirmative Action. They have it all: common staples, sushi, BBQ, appetizers, FISH, a salad and fruit bar. Did I mention they have SIX different ice cream flavors? Ever wonder what it was like to be a billionaire at an Asian buffet? This is probably what it feels like. Just so much indulgence, I don't know what I'm going to do when I eat Chinese food again. Not to mention the price is crazy low compared to the local places. Drinks were included in the price! You will definitely feel like the owner's kid isn't going to have a college fund with the type of food this place offers. In short, highly recommend this place. If I am but a humble sweet sour sauce disciples, this place is my messiah. ps. they had baked apple pie available on the counter, as if it wasn't already good they went overkill!”

“Clean facility, remodeled since I was last here before the pandemic. Seated efficiently they have the best system. Soup and salad is great quality and always a favorite. If you buy an entree you can order an entree from a select menu for $6. Our server was fast and cheerful. The most convenient is being able to pay at the little laptop kiosk right at your table! Always an excellent experience at Olive Garden.

Stood inside for 16 minutes before asking hostess how much longer the wait would be. She said, "When a table is ready." Asked how long she thought it would be. She said, "Ummm as soon as one is ready." Debated staying, ultimately told her we were going to Longhorn. Her response was, "Ok. Bye." Ironically, we had enough time while standing there to read their LEAD acronym guide that was posted behind the desk. The first two, listen an empathize, must have slipped the hostess's mind as she didn't indicate that she cared about our wait or that we were leaving to eat at the competitor. The lady who was seating people made the comment that a bunch of the servers went on break at the same time. It seems that scheduling is another area that needs improvement at this establishment.”

“We stopped at Mehl’s on our road-trip from Western ND to Minneapolis. We will definitely stop again. I was able to call ahead and order some pizza and chicken strips to go, so it was just as quick as any “fast-food.” We were also able to pick-up some delicious bread, cookies and muffins that we ate when we got to our destination. I also purchased some pizza crust and a pancake mix that only needs water and oil (yaya!) that we are excited to try. We are new to the Celiac diet and so excited to have a super safe food option for our travels.”

“Usually when I get a coffee from here the mini donut on top is fresh. The last few times it's been dry and old and not what I was looking forward to enjoying with the coffee. I don't go inside so don't know what the inside feel is like. I do like the coffee and mini donuts especially when the mini donuts are fresh there's nothing like them in the world and well worth the price you pay for them!!! I think they're definitely a coffee shop worth checking out if you're into good coffee and mini donuts!!!”

The El AGAVE restaurant has succeeded in impressing me.... we had the molcahjeté for two and the birra tacos.... first of all the amount of food we got for our money was top tier for sure... the flavors were on point and the birra tacos were fantastic (first time for me on the birra).... our server Daniel was phenomenal! He gave us some great suggestions was very attentive, he made sure the experience was a good one for us... the table side guacamole was on point for sure and a very nice touch....I don't give five star reviews....EVER... but you guys are the closest so far.... I rate you a 4.9 all day and that's saying a lot coming from me..... we will definitely be coming back and certainly will put you at the top of our list to recommend to friends that come to fargo to visit! “This place is good and definitely unique! I got two scoops of cookie dough, one s’mores and one M&M. I definitely recommend the s’mores dough.

Next time I want to do one scoop ice cream and one scoop cookie dough. Having two doughs was too sweet, I had to finish the rest the next day. One scoop of dough is plenty unless you want leftovers!

I went at 8p on a Friday night and didn’t have to wait in line.

The communication leading up to the wedding was always timely and Brianna was so awesome to answer any questions that came up from us! We updated our food menu a couple different times during wedding planning and they always handled it with grace and ensured us it was no problem! On our wedding day, staff did a great job and they were so friendly and smiley. We got SOO many compliments on the food from our family and friends, one friend even said “the most memorable wedding meal she’s experienced” - it truly was delicious and presentation was 5 star as well!! We so appreciate Jay’s and will be forever grateful for their service on our wedding day!! (The red velvet cake was way too good, too!)”

She had been working at the subway on Sheyenne where I normally go. She is always so polite, greets you with a smile and is friendly. She just has a great attitude all around.
