I wanted to take the time to tell you what a great experience we had last night! The service from the bartender and manager on shift last night was top notch! Both were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and beers offered on tap. We sampled a few items from the tap and found some new favorites! Based on reviews, Würst Bier Hall Downtown is an excellent place with incredible food, huge beer selection, and great vibes. The downtown location has much character and the service is always quick, even when packed. The food is hot, fresh, and outstanding. Pierogis are especially good, and the sautéed peppers are very good. The Spaetzle Mac/cheese and red cabbage are also excellent. Strong recommendations include the Jäger Schnitzel, which is well done with delicious gravy, and the Spätzle. The bacon flight is 1000/10, and the sausage and fries are delicious. There is an ample beer selection organized by types, with a flight of 4 beers available during happy hour. The daily specials never disappoint. However, the website happy hour isn't accurate and a waitress said it hasn't been what was stated for a long time. As a German, the food is actually authentic to a certain degree, but American beer cannot compare to German beer. Service is exceptional, and the waitstaff is fabulous and awesome.
