We looked forward to the Easter buffet; however, compared to last year’s variety and quality, this year’s buffet was barely mediocre. The buffet table wasn’t maintained; food was cold, and service was inadequate. Bus boys did remove dirty dishes. So disappointed!

Me and my significant other came here for our anniversary and the experience was perfect! The atmosphere was high class and romantic and the service was impeccable. Monte, the gentleman who ran the front, checked up on us and others around us to make sure we had a good time. He provided a delightful conversation. Jeff, our server, was very welcoming and did a fantastic job being mindful of us and our needs. The food itself was spectacular. I had a perfectly cooked medium rare new york strip with creamy Mashed potatoes and my partner had a stunning chicken franchoise. Overall, I highly recommend brining your loved ones for a great fine dining experience!

We had dinner here tonight and were initially a bit nervous that it was kind of dead on a Friday night in Fargo (when most restaurants are packed) but we had good food and great service. We had the fried ravioli appetizer, my partner had the filet, and I had the walleye. It was all pretty good. The only downside was that the prices are high. I know everything is expensive these days but I think the cost of the menu items here were inflated a bit too much. Nevertheless we'll likely come back again. Gotta give a shout out to our waiter, Thomas, who was very professional and attentive.

After waiting 5 minutes to be seated I waited 15 minutes for any member of the wait staff to show up, greet me, tell me about the specials etc. Watched many people in that 15 minutes get seated, greeted, and even place orders. Really poor when you travel for a living and this the hotel restaurant you are stuck with. I decided to leave and not allow them to disappoint any more than that. I've been to restaurants that start like this and it never is worth your time.

What a great dining experience! Great atmosphere and my Filet Steak was one of the best I have ever had. The server was on top of his game. We even talked about some good old music "Pink Floyd" :) I hope the evening host/Manager never retires (Again)

On January 6 2024, my wife’s birthday, we decided to go to the 84 Italian Steakhouse to have dinner and just to celebrate her. When we got there the host brought us to our seats and we were we sitting for almost half an hour, nobody came to offer us anything. They did not offer us water, take our drink orders, let us know there would be a wait. No communication of any sort. They were clearing tables, offering other customers extra sauce, taking bills, having conversations all while we seated there, they didn’t even look in our direction so my wife and I decided to leave. We assumed that due to our ethnicity or maybe our race that we were not welcomed there, or that our money was not as green as other customers. I am very disappointed in the service but also that my wife had to experience this on her birthday. I would not recommend this restaurant for persons of color. There are many other restaurant in downtown Fargo that are warm inviting and inclusive.

It was fantastic! I Googled Italian food in Fargo as there was a wonderful restaurant we'd gone to a couple years ago and i couldnt recall the name. This one came up and had cacio de pepe, a dish I ordered a lot in Italy. So simple but delicious. We enjoyed salads then pasta and managed a few bites of an apple cobbler before crying, check! , there might have been a fancy cocktails. Or two. Charming host sat us. Tables spaced nicely for privacy. You might not think a restaurant in a hotel is anything but bland, but you'd be very, very wrong about the 84 Italian Steakhouse.

I went here last night and I'm only going to complain as constructive criticism. I had a great time and my complaints are to help this place, not hurt it.
The online menus in google and pinned on Facebook are not up to date. I had my dinner picked out before I got there and saw the real menu, so I had the special.
The special came with potatoes, which my husband noticed were a little undercooked, I noticed it too, but not enough to be displeased. My friend's husband preferred the crunchy potatoes.
The tables get dirty fast with the bread crumbs. I don't know why I noticed that, but I did.
Not much for complaints, the good....
The food was clearly not precooked and everything was to order. Service, 10. Atmosphere, 10. If you are willing to spend a minimum of $100 on a meal for 2, you should go. When it's dark outside, it's nice.
