We had a large group of 14 of us for dinner. Everything was amazing from the wonderful cocktails, to our appetizers and delicious entrees. I think between all of we may have had everything on the menu and it was all so incredibly tasty. Sadly, we were so busy eating and drinking and enjoying the ambiance I didn’t get any pics for this review. Our server Joey, was an absolute gem. The manager stopped by our table to make sure things were great and was present through the evening. Often times when dining with a larger group there’s a delay for drinks, apps and food…not here! We never had our drinks run dry or had to wait for anything we ordered. Highly recommend Beer&Fish!

Such a great spot to grab a bite to eat! The French onion soup was warm & cozy, the walleye sandwich was amazing, and the fries are the best I’ve had in Fargo. My husband had the fish & chips which was wonderful as well! Great service and good atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

This is a great stop for the seafood lover. I had the halibut and cod. Generous pieces prepared and served in the fish and chips style. Great drinks to compliment the meal.i

Food was good, but dill clam chowder, broiled walleye and veggies were not hot. Atmosphere was great.

The fried walleye was delicious. As visitors to Fargo, however, we had trouble finding the restaurant. It's in an alley, and our GPS was not helpful. We're glad we persevered, though.

Shared a wonderful date night meal here with my girlfriend. Apart from a long wait to be seated, the atmosphere was exceptional and our food was delivered very fast. The oysters are fantastic, and the fish was fried to perfection. We recommend the Mahi Mahi Grilled tacos and the Cod fish and chips. Consider making a reservation on busier nights.

Everything was top-notch! We will definitely be back. Loved how it was hidden in the valley. Super clean inside. Food was spectacular ?

This place was a bit challenging to find for out of towners...but once we stepped through the door every detail was first rate. We had, shrimp tacos, Mahi tacos, walleye fish and chips , and lobster roll. All the food was all very good. The service was absolutely fantastic! Joey, who looks like a young Judd Nelson, was terrific. Very friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable of everything on the menu. We would very highly recommend this restaurant and we will make it a point to go back. Thanks for the great experience!!

I have to say this is a must to try. We will be going back again. Only thing I can recommend is get a reservation. They hold tables based on them. We were originally told they were not sure they would have a table. We waiting a bit before getting seated. We saw multiple tables empty during the entire time we were there. So yes, call ahead to make sure you have a spot.
