I was so upset. As a family of 5 we don't treat ourselves very often. Tonight we decided to. We just moved to the area and our kids never have had burger time. My husband and I have but not for a few years now and let me tell you it was not at all the good quality delicious food it once was. They have obviously cheaped out when it comes to quality products. Instead you can tell that they buy lower quality produce lower quality meat lower quality bread lower quality fries onion rings everything. It wasn't just the food that was bad but the service wasn't great either. They know that their lids don't fit on their cups yet they don't warn the customer when handing them the over filled cups with lids just balancing on them . So of course they spilled half of my husbands soda all over his dry clean only wool peacoat. They also didn't even put the pop in the drink carrier for us instead they handed us the cardboard drink carrier and all four sodas all at once to do ourselves mind you none of the kids were on at all just placed to balance on top. Then when they handed us out the food A family of fives combos was packed in to two bags. They were filled to the brim and barely able to be folded over They were heavy and they were both handed out one-handed at the same time My husband tried to grab them and before he even could the person who wasn't even looking what he was doing dropped them. Luckily my husband caught it all while still trying to get the pooling liquid off his coat and lap. We get home open our food and I was so excited for my onion rings cuz I haven't had their onion rings in years I take one out take a bite of it It is literally the texture of cardboard It is not cooked all the way through and it smells horrible. It also tasted rancid I immediately ran to the bathroom and threw up because that's how bad it smelled and tasted. That's the kind of thing you eat and end up with food poisoning that's how bad it smelled. I don't know if the oil was rancid or if the onion rings were left to sit there for hours and hours before serving them to me there is really no other explanation. Together I spent dang near 60 bucks for one dinner for a family of five Even if I would have gotten all the ingredients fresh from the market myself it wouldn't have costed that much and I would have actually had a meal that my family could have eaten. Instead I spent 60 bucks and now I have to go get different food because my family cannot eat it It is that disgusting. I called and at first they offered to just have free meals waiting for us next time we come. I said no thank you I am never coming back I would like a refund even if you only refund the things that I obviously didnt/couldnt eat which was 80% of the food. They say they are training but really any manager worth their weight wouldn't have let any of that garbage go out the window. Unfortunately I have allergies and couldn't smell My onion rings had I been able to I would have never taken that bite My husband literally sniffed it and gagged That's how bad they were. The fries honestly weren't much better They tasted like bad oil They were all stuck together and none of them were at all cooked. I am going back tomorrow to get a full refund according to the person at the store. I hope they do give me my money back because I feel scammed.

The food is pretty decent. The service has always been top notch in my opinion. I will give it that, the workers and such have always been polite and very accommodating. The food. Hmmmmmm, it depends on what you get, but the burgers used to be so much better in my opinion. I don't know if the quality of beef switched or what, but the burgers are just kind of bland and not of great quality. The fries đ are really good. A bit on the spendy side, like $7 or 8 bucks for a large order. The location is convenient, but not good if you want to sit outside and enjoy your meal.
I don't get fast food often and it's been a long time since I did. I work at a family restaurant so I can pretty much get the cook to make me what I'm in the mood for. This being said in my mind burger time is the best. Food quality is amazing!!! I've been eating there since the burgers were 99cents. I've got a really bad cold and door dashed you thank you for the good food and merry Christmas

Why did you switch your fries? The ones you serve now are awful. Havenât eaten there in a while and someone told me that you switched back. Ate there just the other night and I wonât be back, fries I threw away. I used to eat there at least once a week.
Best burger ever, we drive once a year from Minneapolis just to have one! Love this place!

We googled the best fast food places in each state and are trying to stop in as many as we can along our road trip across the country. Burger Time was listed as North Dakotaâs best fast food place. There arenât many locations, but fortunately there were a couple along our route. There is no inside for ordering or sitting, but it looked like there was a walk up window and there were a few tables for sitting outside, but it was far too windy while we were there. We got the chipotle ranch burger, cheese curds and a corn dog to share.
The pros: everything was definitely fresh. There was no one else at the location when we arrived, but we still had to wait a few minutes at the window after paying to receive our food. The cheese curds were good; a good breading with lots of cheese although a bit greasy. The sauce on the chipotle ranch burger was also good.
The cons: the chipotle ranch burger wasnât anything special and the patty was thin and not juicy despite being greasy. All of the food was very greasy and all the wrappers and the bag were dripping with grease. The parking lot was covered in deep pot holes with no way to avoid them. There wasnât really any structure or visible lines within the parking lot, so i imagine if it was busy it would be a bit chaotic.
The corn dog didnât really fit as a pro or con for me. Overall, I liked it, but it was a bit too crispy, sweet, and greasy for me to order it again.
