Hostess didn't even greet us verbally, she just looked at us. We said how many of us and she walked off with the menus, and we followed. All that without a word from her. She brought chips and salsa, again without a word. The light bulb above our table was out. I felt like I was in a dingy room that was in need of a new coat of paint. Not a pleasant dining experience at all. The waiter seemed brisk and a man of few words as well. Surely the food would make up for the service. Unfortunately, it did not. The food arrived quickly, but the only thing on my plate that was still warm was the chimichanga. Which was deep fried. I had ordered a beef chimichanga, which was a mixture of ground beef and steak strips that lacked seasoning. When I got the bill it had a $2 upcharge for the steak strips, which was not listed on the menu, and I was not asked about what type of beef I wanted. The rice and beans were not even slightly warm. The rice looked a bit dried on top, which the picture probably doesn't show, but it was enough to make me wonder how long it had been sitting on the plate. They brought the plates out with a pot holder, as is common in a Mexican restaurant. I was surprised how the food could be completely cold if the plates were that hot. I touched the plate, and it was cold as well. I think a step was skipped. Fajitas came to the table, at least still warm but not sizzling. I wouldn't come back to this place.

I just did something I've never done. I walked out of a restaurant after waiting for over 15 minutes to even get noticed. We're sitting at our table, there's someone wiping tables and vacuuming the floor, and there's other tables getting service. Just not us. We kinda laughed about it at first, then someone dropped a basket of chips and salsa at our table WITHOUT ONE WORD. She didn't take a drink order, just went back to cleaning and ignoring us. We walked out at the 15 minute mark and literally no help from a server. What a waste of time. Never again.
