Cowboy Jacks was such a good addition to the downtown area. It's nice to see how much work they put into their country style atmosphere, with the decorations and tables. I love the happy hour special, which is daily for half off apps and $'s off beer and typically make it in once a week. Staff is always very friendly and goes above & beyond to remember your drinks if they see you enough.

The food was very disappointing. The burgers weren't hot and they were dry. . I asked for medium on the burger and it was over done. I asked for tots and my friend asked for fries and the fries were cold and I didn't get tots. If they were busy I would've understood but they weren't busy whatsoever.

How does this place manage to stay open? I came in today (Sunday) and there were only 8 people in the entire place. No one behind the bar. I sat there without being greeted for well over 5 minutes. I then decided to check the Google reviews and made the easy decision to leave, so I can’t tell you about the food, but the service was nonexistent. So glad I walked down the street to The Boiler Room as I had a very positive experience there!

The tatertot dish was SALTY!!! All my friends could eat of it was the tater tots on top, everything else was so salty. I had tge taco salad, needless to say the taco salad at taco Johns is better and that says a lot! Our waitress was great, but thats about all I can say for this place.

Food is typical bar food, so I know what I'm getting when I go there. Good prices for food and liquor compared to other prices in the area. I try to hit happy hour for good appetizer and beer prices. Have nightly basic dinner specials, i.e burgers one night, street tacos another, etc. Service can be slow from time to time, but generally ok.
We had the absolute worst experience at this place. Awful service!!! Took 30 minutes for an appetizer, and an hour for our food after asking if it was ready! Our server Taylor W. Didn't check on us once! We asked for a manager and no one came! Many tables were served that arrived after we did. No apologies for the service or wait time. We will not go back. In my opinion this is a zero to one star rating.
This is also the second time being there, the last time we sat for 30 minutes and no one even came to our table. Seriously who runs this place! I thought maybe a second chance was a good idea! Fooled me!
