This bar is disgusting in how it operates. Especially weekends. Check your receipts as I've caught them multiple times upcharging or adding in higher tips and I WILL call them out each time. I don't know how they can handle their embarrassment when they're caught. If it keeps happening, I'll be including names specifically. They need to change their staff. Not to mention they overserve the younger adults that go there, then do nothing to stop the fights when they start.

Cowboy jacks is one of the best bars around Fargo. Josh is always so polite and is the best bartender. He has quick service. I also recommend the wings to everyone!

What a depressing place to go these days. We went on NDSU homecoming weekend. A beautiful Sept. Saturday. 75° Their rooftop wasn’t open yet at 3pm, which we patiently waited for. Once we had a table up on the patio though, we were treated like a nuisance. We played a couple songs on the touch tunes while we were waited for drinks and food, and as soon as they played, the touch tunes was paused and other music played. The food and drinks were just fine, just not the Cowboy Jack’s I used to know. Probably good it’s for sale.

Cowboy Jacks IS THE BEST BAR/RESTAURNT IN TOWN we had a large event there last night and i cannot thank the staff enough for how amazing they where. We gad an event of 200+ people and there was no gap in service everyone had such a great time . A BIG SHOUTOUT TO COWBOY JACKS SERVERS AND BARTENDERS!!! Bher is a great manager with and even more amazing staff !!
I rarely write a bad review...but here I go. We sat down at the bar and waited 15+ minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge us...no apology, nothing, just rude! Acted like we interrupted his whole entire day. Wanted to try the food but we were over it by the time we got our drinks. Left the bar and took our beers to the rooftop...that was the highlight of our visit on 8.30.25 @ 4:30-ish. I get everyone has a bad day...but dannngggg...I wish we would've skipped this place while visiting Fargo.

This place was a DUMP. Sticky floors, graffiti all over the bathroom walls. Bartender was slow to greet us, even slower to ask about our order. We left. If they dont mop the dinning room or bathroom floors, I can't imagine the back kitchen is very sanitary... hard pass... took videos, but only seeing a photo upload option, so screenshots of video is what it is..... 🤷

I'll never forget the bartender, who saw me get up with a cane and came over to let me hold his arm to go to the restroom.
He was even on his way to me when I came out just to help me back to my seat. And he wasn't even our server.
Very nice young gentlemen and I will put his name in here as soon as I find it out because we're going there again today.
