Very rude place for African Americans what still isn't obvious in the United States I went with my family and was totally disrespected we handed them our IDs and the guy actually TOSSED the IDS back on the table and across the table back to the person We said Wait "it thats disrespectful and he said he didn't feel he did anything disrespectful but we Handed him our IDs we handed them to him, and HE basically slung/Tossed them like were playing spades smh . Very rude I'll never go back which I'm sure their fine with that, I show ppl respect on matter what Race n I see ppl don't change* and everyone in the bar had nothing to say or cared. ? I would have accepted an apology and just understood you could have handed them back with respect like a grown person was All to move forward and we'd had stayed I've been in there quite a few times, it was ok this just did it.

Upstairs at the Aquarium. Nice atmosphere for bands and dj music. Every event I have done there it's a good time and bartenders are always speedy for me.
We’ve always liked the atmosphere here and the taco nights. Joni, a waitress, remembered our drink orders tonight, even though we go here roughly once a month. She is awesome.

My wife and I went here about 3 weeks ago to watch a live band. Was having a great time. Band was great and the server (although it was busy) was on top of us, pretty much never had an empty cup. Now where it went bad... I had 2 airplane shooters (undrank) fall out of my coat that I completely forgot was there (we had ubered so my wife brought it to "pregame" earlier in the night before going to Dempsey's). Our waitress saw it and took it, scolded us as well; we apologized and went on dancing thinking "oopsie, but no big deal". About that same time, my wife noticed a couple of women having a weird interaction with a group of 3 men. One of them ended up leaving with the group. She went over to the remaining woman and asked if everything was okay and if she needed a ride home. What she told us about the other lady's situation concerned us, so she sent me out to make sure the other lady was okay. I went outside to find that one of the guys was getting arrested. After about 5 mins I came back in to learn that we were getting kicked out. Apparently, men forcefully making a woman leave with them is okay in their book, but airplane shooters — no, no, no. And when my wife called him out for exactly that, the "bouncer" even threatened to call the cops on us for carrying airplane shooters. ? It's really not a bad spot, but we'll go somewhere that values safety over money.
