Really delicious! I had the white coffee flavor and my husband got the rhubarb cheesecake, we also took a pint of the Dutch chocolate home and everything is INSANELY delicious. It’s so creamy and there’s lots of flavors to choose from. The mild Gouda cheese is also great! The girls working are always very sweet! Thank you :)

this afternoon, after devouring a delectable burger, i sauntered over to Duchessa Gelato for a frosty sweetened treat. the moment i entered the treshold, an air of European sophistication enveloped me. i was posthaste transported to my long lost second cousins ice cream shop in long island, new york. as a lassie, i spent many summers, working away at long lost cousin mario’s sugary workshop. as i approached the counter, visions of cousin mario’s gelato artistry pirouetted through my mind, but would duchessa’s pistachio gelato live up to the saccharine visions of my summers in the 20th century? i accepted my cone of pale green ambrosia with a faint heart. i was unprepared. the second the velvety concoction met my tongue, time itself stuttered. the nutty yet candied flavor is like no other i have tasted. not only was this ice cream flavored exquisitely, the texture of it was heavenly. this frozen treat had a elastic stretch to it, unlike no other. The cone, oh the cone. Attached to this nutty marvel was absolutely heaven sent. it had a crisp yet yielding exterior that sent me to heaven. by the time i was done with this treat, there was not even a single crumb left. I almost mourned its disappearance.

The sweet yogurt cherry flavor is the best treat I’ve ever had. Just a smooth, creamy cherry filled explosion of flavor. We used to get a scoop whenever they showed up at the market. I wish they were in a different permanent space, as we have no interest in frequenting Brewhalla with any regularity.
This Gelato and creamery shop is located within Brewhalla market. It offers 12 different flavors of gelato. The customers get a choice of two flavors served either in a paper cup or in a waffle cone. I chose a cup. I tried the pumpkin spice and the sweet yogurt cherry, they were excellent. The shop is well designed. The price is fair. Customer service is superb and the storefront is clean.

Duchessa Gelato is one of the BEST gelatos I've had in my life, and I've travled to Europe multiple times! The quality is so amazing that you can taste it in every bite! This is very authentic, and the flavor was so good that I am still dreaming about it! The owner's husband shared their story with us on how Duchessa was started, and I am so glad he did! This is a MUST stop when you're in Fargo!
