This is a good place. Good tasting food (portions are a bit small but that was my only issue) and good environment. Employees were nice and professional.

They used very COVID-safe practices. My husband & I both had BBQ Salads. It was fresh & delicious. I like mine with a little blue cheese dressing drizzled over the dressing that comes with it. We had pulled pork as our meat. We ordered, paid, then sat down at a table. The drink station was self-serve. Our food came our quickly. Everyone working was friendly and accommodating. Very nice, family atmosphere. Feeling a little naughty, we shared a dessert. The bread pudding with an amazing sauce, toasted pecans, ice cream and whipped cream was a meal in its self. We never order dessert, but it was worth it. I recommend this restaurant.

Sadly, Famous Dave's looks like it's on its last legs in Fargo at least. The post pandemic experience is unsatisfactory. Workers were nice and the only reason I am giving it 2 stars. Food was not very good. I use to love Famous Dave's. I think we will stay home next time if everything else is full up during busy hours.

We used to love Famous Dave's. I can adjust to the no workers and having to order at the counter but seriously let me take the menu, sit down and order. I was so stressed with having to decide with a line of people behind me.The food was marginal. Chicken was good. Rib tips were tough and SL ribs were so-so. Everything was cool so it wasn't a hot sit down meal we were looking to have. Prices the same but portions much smaller than we remember. We could eat a pick 3 and have left overs. Not so much tonight. I'm a bit upset with myself for the tip I left.Comments as we left...if that is Famous Dave's we won't be back, we should have gone to x, y, z. Sad day.

It’s the first time of been to Famous Dave’s. It absolutely sucked. Walked in, you order at the counter and pay right away (ok not a big deal). everything that my family orders, it was all cold. It’s a serve yourself place. The only reason we left a 15 dollar tip is because there is no custom amount. It’s either 15 or 19 %. Would of rather when to Applebee’s at least they have hot food!!!

Seriously disappointed with our dinner experience last night. It was our first visit since before the pandemic and we were shocked to find out how horribly they “adjusted” over the past year and a half.Food is ordered fast-food style at a counter right when you walk in and then you’re given a table number and told to pick a spot. Prices have not changed even though there is virtually no table service. Sauces are dispensed out of pump vats and drinks are self-serve out of a fountain.Our order came out incorrect the first time so we had to wait in line at the ordering counter to send it back to the kitchen. On the second attempt, they got the food right, but forgot to bring out any silverware. Even though everything is self-serve, they keep the silverware tucked away in the back. So we got to wait in line at the ordering counter once again, this time for nearly 10 minutes, to request silverware. Only employee we could see was working the ordering counter. By the time we got to eat, our entire meal was cold.What used to be our favorite place to get some damn good protein has gone as far downhill as it almost possibly could. We won’t be back unfortunately and don’t recommend this location anymore.

Our time at famous Dave's was absolutely amazing, employee Careen gave us the best customer service I have ever experienced. I live almost 2 hours away and when in town will stop here just to see careen. She loves her job and you can tell! I am very thankful for the experience careen has given my family.

Their method of dealing with the "labor shortage" is to make you seat yourself and order at the counter. This would be fine, BUT while our food came out quite quickly, it was lukewarm at best and tastes of chemically artificial smoke. This used to be such a good place to eat. Now that they've gotten rid of the Sunday brunch, and now serving glorified garbage, I won't be returning.

Ordered curbside pickup, sat there for 25 extra mins, had to go in and get my order which was cold and the girl who was there was to busy chatting on her phone instead of doing what she is there for.. working her job. Not impressed..

I used to LOVE Famous Dave's. This last visit was a total disappointment. There were flies everywhere. The service was terrible and there were only 3 tables occupied, including ours. There is no longer table service, so you order immediately upon entering the restaurant; very difficult with a toddler. It took forever to get our food and it was cold when it came. The brisket had gobs of congealed fat in it and it tasted terrible. The ribs were sub par and pineapple steaks were super burnt. The only good part was the famous fries. Definitely not worth the more than $50 I spent. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I find this visit to famous Dave's really unappetizing. I haven't been to famous Dave's in years and it's overall dissapointing. The service was really bad and the food tasted like it was made by a bunch of toddlers. I got the Dave's favorite burger with a side of fries and when I got it the bacon tasted stale and the burger was burnt and crunchy and just very disgusting. The only thing that was good about it was the Dave's famous fries but nothing else. I also went up to get Dr. Pepper and the flavoring was empty and only tasted like carbonated water and didn't look like soda at all. The effort I give this place is that it was very clean and organized but with everything else I take it as a very big dissapointment and I don't think I will be coming back.
