One of my fav places for delicious american food. very tasty. the service was friendly and sociable. bring your hunger - portions are large. menu is like a place in san francisco i liked.
We snagged a big table by the big windows and proceeded to enjoy our meal, some local beer, and making plans for our big weekend in Fargo. Gayle is a graduate of nearby Moorhead State, so I knew I was in good hands. Service was Midwest friendly and well paced. Prices are perhaps a little high by Midwest standards, and very reasonable if you've come in from California.
The HoDo has always provided high quality food and drink. An upscale menu and look, with a casual feel. The dishes are a little pricier, but you get what you pay for. The only complaint I could make is that I've had some issues with service in the past, but it's only been here or there. Today I had the General's Chicken, a classic HoDo dish that I was craving. My food was delivered quickly and it looked and tasted great.
