This restaurant is a MUST VISIT destination in Fargo! Everything we tried was phenomenal and hit all the right notes -- fresh, delicious, and huge portions at a reasonable price. Pictured are the chicken sugaar and roti, a lamb gyro and fries, beef sambusas, and nafaqo. My mom and I also ordered chai, which was absolutely delicious. You've got to try their cooking; I promise you won't regret it! We received such warm, welcoming, and friendly service that made us so happy...

Stopped by on a visit to Fargo. Owner was incredibly friendly and set us up with absolutely delicious home cooked food. Atmosphere is simple but clean and welcoming. Would definitely come here again when back in Fargo!

Hooyo’s is such a hidden gem. The owner, who is Somali, makes truly exceptional Ethiopian food — full of flavor and authenticity. My family gave her a bit of a hard time at first, but in the end everyone enjoyed the meal and cleared their plates. Perfect spot for a quick bite, and I’ll definitely be back.
