My boyfriend and I have been coming to the Izumi locations in Fargo for about a year. This is our favorite spot.. however, it has slowly become harder to enjoy our dinners here. We normally come around 8:45-9 for all you can eat. We try to get in an hour before the doors close which is also 30 mins before kitchen closes (kitchen closes at 9:30). We always get the same thing and know what we want. In the past 3 visits we have felt rushed. We have also been stared at the whole time...
Dumplings were fantastic, good size portion and perfect texture. The Kiss of Fire sushi roll was quite a bit smaller than I expected for $16, and it wasn't nearly as spicy as I expected with the double pepper label on the menu. The staff were very helpful and provided quick service.
A very nice surprise! We had a large birthday group and called ahead. They were very accommodating in seating us together and very helpful in handling multiple checks split up in the group. We did All You Can Eat and everyone was full and happy when we left.
