Visited for an online pickup order we placed. We ended up having to wait a while longer than anticipated, but we were very happy with the customer service we received while waiting. Multiple employees checked on us and were overall very friendly. And it was nice to see this place pretty full on a Friday evening! Food was great, too.

Myself and my group did not like the food. The meat was nasty but the server was fantastic and the place is clean. Just not good food for the price.

I thought it was good service, clean facility, positive attitudes from staff, great atmosphere and good food. It’s unfortunate you can’t get ribs until later into early evening but we’re not a big city, we’re small town news in comparison. We went looking for ribs and rib tips and burnt ends and all those good fixings. So if you desire a particular dish I strongly suggest you check ahead of time to ensure they prepare it at the time you want it before you go for service.

Rude staff, didn’t greet or smile. Didn’t make me feel very welcome. Won’t be returning.

Now I'm a KC girl. Jack Stack, LCs, Arthur Bryants, Gates, Q39 and so on are some great places for BBQ. Even the hole in the wall places for BBQ are good. Now I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. BBQ for BREAKFAST? BREAKFAST!!???? CHILE! The brisket wasn't dry, and had the right ratio of fat to lean meat. The eggs were good. Home fries could've been dried a minute or so longer. Beingets were okay....it's just that the inside were alil, too doughy. I know beingnets from my frequent travels to Louisiana. Still. I'd visit again....and again....and again. The food was damn near perfect.

Jay's BBQ has good food a very clean place but when you order soup their expect an extra charge for crackers for two saltine crackers they want to charge you up charge for $0.50 per package which is ridiculous!. They shouldn't even serve soup otherwise service was ! great

I visited this restaurant when it was in the Moorhead center mall and it is now a staple in my Fargo visits. I try to make it here twice a month and everytime I go (while at an off time) can’t help but notice I’m usually the lone table. The food is incredible! For a BBQ restaurant I can’t stress enough how consistent the food quality is! Never been disappointed and hope to visit many more times in the future.

OK service and overall good food. Unfortunately not a home run on the brisket (which is the main character), but I am sure they know better and I will visit again to give it another go.
I ordered:
- Smoked and fried wings (very good wings and very good sauce - I would have these again! Believe the sauce was “mango habanero”)
- Brisket, lean and fatty (taste was good and fat seemed to be OK rendered, but still a bit chewy. It came in a sloppy pile and not as sliced brisket which should he the way to serve this when it’s not sold as “chopped brisket”. Not possible to separate point and flat when everything is one common pile…)
- Ribs (good, tasty ribs. Tasted like they might have been chargrilled after smoking which was a nice touch)
- Jalapeño Mac’n cheese (very good side dish! Creamy and very tasty - would definitely have this again)
- Cornbread (OK tasting cornbread, but a little on the dry side)
