Burgers are hand patted and juicy. The chips and fries are still whole, fresh potatoes when you place your order, then are cut and fried right then and there...couldn't be fresher! Beer is cold and staff are super friendly. It's cool that you can write on the JL Beers postcards and staff will mail them out for you! Love it here, no doubt!
Stopped in for a beer with my sister and looked at the menu, looked interesting! Went there two days later for Saturday lunch - everything is separate. No burger/fries, no sandwich/side, and the price of those fries and sides - unreasonable. Yeah, very unlikely we will go back.

Hands down F/M's best burger joint. The potato chips made fresh to order dipped in the SPECIAL sauce is phenomenal. The burgers are always on point. Then the incredible variety of beers they have never let myself or the guests I bring down!!
there food is amazing I know downtown they cook the food right in front of you it's amazing I definitely need to go again hopefully I can keep going there tell I get to old to drive

My wife and I got take out tonight and upon arriving, they were having computer issues so they got to our order late, no problem though because they made it up for us quick. Once we were home and opened it up, one of the sandwiches were wrong (which is ok.. we are all humans after all!!) So we called and the lady who answered the phone was extremely kind, helpful and sorry about the mix up. We called after close so she said I can come back and get a refund or get that meal remade and as someone who is a manager in the restaurant industry, she was so pleasant and really cared!! 5 stars all around because of her care, 4 stars on food only because of the one sandwich wrong but everything else was great and hot. THANK YOU!!

Best Burger in town! JL's is a fantastic beer & burger dine in in Fargo. They do burgers & fries & they knock it out of the park! Oh & they have a wide selection of craft beers to wash down the burger.. Don't pass a chance to try this in Fargo, you will thank me later.. A+

Female stuff lady was RUDE, like she was annoyed that we were there... UNFRIENDLY, POOR ATTITUDE.The Vinyl Taco STAFF(restaurant next door) heard them talk to us and was shocked. Especially the heavy set female server with black hair, piercings, and arm tattoos. Made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. We've been customers for years. And we have tatts and body jewelry. She is just rude.Parking: Maybe 10 parking spots outside.
