Always a fun experience with amazing food.
I was surprised by fees in addition to food. A $25 plate was more like $30 to $35.
Awesome everything
My wife and I really like this place. They have good specials to keep prices affordable. The portions are good, favors are so balanced and tasty. The place is decorated nicely and it's lively.
I've had better Hibatchi food elsewhere, but theirs is pretty good. But they do have really good sushi. Decent, not amazing.
There was sand in my scallops. Other than that, everything was good. It's hard to get over the grit in your teeth though.

So it was all just okay? But the salmon avocado roll was extremely small and puny for what we were charged. Regular rolls are waaaay way too small for the price. You can get grocery store sushi that tases the same and is cheaper but at a larger portion. I’m talking not even bigger than the diameter of a quarter. The ginger dressing was also extremely watered down, though the salad was larger than most ginger salads you get at sushi restaurants. Not bad but not great either. Do not come here for the sushi. Didn’t try the hibachi, so maybe that would be a better experience food wise.

Kobe's is our go-to for birthday dinners and we always have a great time! I would give this place 5 stars, but recently, it seems it is slowly going downhill. Primarily because I think it needs updating; something new and fun to go with the Hibachi tables.
To the restaurant: I highly recommend adding something that isn't in Fargo yet.... I promise it will be a HUGE hit and increase financial profit... A Sushi ? Train!!
Make space by taking the hibachi stations out (leaving 2 of them at least), and the koi pond + bridge. Use the bar area as waiting.
(Conveyor belts with sushi, fruit & veggies, and deserts will be the talk of the town. Can even get robots to serve drinks to save employment costs! - entertaining for all ages.)

I ordered for takeout, chicken fried rice, shrimp fried rice, the 4 spring rolls app and some tempura chicken appetizer. I definitely don’t recommend the tempura be ordered for takeout as by the time I got there it had been sitting a minute (that’s on me) and it wasn’t what I was expecting as it have battered and deep fried broccoli, and like zucchini and a couple other items. The total was 44$ but we still have the entire shrimp fried rice untouched for tomorrow ? I’d love to eat in and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere they have lots of love fish in the indoor pond

The proteins (chicken and shrimp) were overcooked. And the other foods were not that flavorful. The service was actually ok. Would I recommend it to anybody no.... For the price there are better places... ☹️

My husband and I sat with 2 other random people at the grills and we were charged their 15% service fee... their policy is when 5 OR MORE are at a table there will be this fee. Why are we being charged when there's 2 groups of 2 people??
Service was pretty slow as well. Don't recommend Kobe's.
