I showed up at 2:19 and read the sign saying the restaurant was closed between 3:00-5:00. I entered and was told they weren’t going to sit me because they had closed the kitchen. Again, it was only 2:20, and the sign said they closed between 3:00 and 5:00. They should have put that on their sign, so I won’t be going back.
We catered Leela Thai for our wedding of 350 people. Maya, the owner, was amazing to work with. She helped plan out exactly what we would need to feed that many people, how much extra to have on hand, and went through all the food allergies/restrictions with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The menu is extensive and works for all food allergies/restrictions. She made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. They delivered our order to our venue and helped with setup for dinner. Everything went so smoothly. I would 100% recommend using them for all your catering needs. My family has gone to Leela Thai for years, it’s our go to spot in Fargo. The food was phenomenal. Everyone at the wedding raved about how delicious every dish was. It was at hit. Lastly, the price was unbeatable. It came out to about $10-12/person which you cannot beat especially in Fargo. We are so happy with every aspect with our catering with Leela Thai.
Small place but a very nice restaurant. Well decorated, fast seating and service, with clean tables. The waitress we had was so friendly, always smiling, and accommodating. The food came out fast and was delicious. I enjoyed everything from the homemade Thai tea, to the streamed chicken gyoza appetizer, to the pad cashew entree. If I lived in the area this would be a regular spot for me. I'll be back, thank you for a wonderful dinner!
Very solid Thai place. We had excellent veggie spring rolls as an app, and then sweet and sour chicken and curry veggies with tofu. All were enjoyable.
Food is hit or miss and the spice levels are very inconsistent. I like it spicy and get the Thai heat spice level, but my friends get medium heat. These levels can be all over the place though. I've tasted mediums that are just as hot as mine are, and I've had the Thai spice that made taco bells diablo sauce feel hot. If you're not a fan of spice stick to the mild end just to be safe, and if you are a fan of spice didn't be afraid to ask for a side of extra spice.
For food I would say the pork is they're only good meat option and anything with the thick rice noodles, like the pad se eu (however you spell it) is gonna be kinda bland
It was an awesome experience. We enjoyed ourselves. The attendant was friendly and welcoming. The green curry recommended by the attendant was tasty and lovely. I'll also recommend it.
The Bo kho beef stew is also delicious.
I'll gladly pay an additional dollar for the tea. It's worth every penny.
I'll definitely visit again to try out other dishes.
Food is always delicious!
The Panang stir-fry is absolutely amazing! Strongly recommend! Don't miss out on the Thai Tea that will put a smile on your face and a boost of energy to go with it ! So tasty ?

Best Thai food in Fargo, hands down. Constantly impressed with the variety of spice levels and flavor profiles at this spot. It’s comfy to come have a business lunch or to take my wife for a quiet bite out. Bags of gold are addicting and all their curries are delicious!

Food was great. First time, the waiter didn’t hear me say “no spice” (the other 3 people I was eating with could attest that I did voice my preference when ordering) on my pad Thai and I don’t tolerate spice at all so unfortunately I wasn’t able to fully enjoy it. Second time, they heard my preference, and I had a delicious pad Thai. I will definitely come back whenever I’m in Fargo and want Thai food.

This is by far the absolute worst Thai food I’ve ever had.
I chose the least spicy option - yet this is so spicy, it’s practically inedible. Rice is dry and unsalted, curry is full with veggies and very little chicken - not that it matters, it’s inedible anyway.
This was a delivery order and it was delivered cold. Not because it was late, but because they didn’t bother packaging it properly in a paper bag; they instead used a plastic bag and they didn’t even tie it.
Unbelievably bad food.

Leela Thai never disappoints. I stop by frequently and my go to is the cashew nut chicken. Highly recommend for good food and good service.

It’s just okay. I know I’m in ND, but I was expecting to better. Both dishes had little flavor and were basically just noodles. Quite disappointing but it did hit the spot for a quick lunch
