If you can't have enough staff to serve, just close.

We stopped by Perkins today for lunch. What an amazing meal we had. The manager Alisa stopped at our table to check if everything was OK, Wow that doesn't happen at other restaurants. Thumbs up

I ordered a build a breakfast and nothing on my order was correct. The server didn’t wait on us for to take our order for 10+ minutes and ask if we wanted anything to drink aside from water when she first came to our table. The servers then all standing behind the bakery desk staring at my husband (whose order they also messed up) and did not check on us until we paid. I have never had such a terrible experience here as it is my favorite place in town to go as I’m from elsewhere but this can guarantee me not coming back for a long while!

The cook weslay made me the best avocado Benedict with hashbrowns, 10/10 Recommend, and the server layla was amazing, very polite and urgent with our requests, Definitely a great place to eat late at night!

Hostess was absolutely rude, had a pleasant experience until it was time to pay, this lady should be in the back if she can’t handle working with the public. Follow up to the reply, there’s too many options in Fargo to have breakfast to get treated like I was and completely ruin my experience and part of my day, with employees like her I can see your spot closing as well, by the way, you can inform her Covid is over now

This used to be a place I loved going to growing up and through the years. It had been years actually since I've eaten here. The place used to be packed, and I recall having to wait for tables, especially on a weekend night. It was quite desolate. There were maybe 2-3 other tables seated of 1 guest/table. It was a go to place for comfort food.

It took quite some time, like 10 minutes, to get seated even with very few customers. The tables didn't feel clean and were sticky.

We had a table of 7 guests. Our friends arrived a few minutes later, but they weren't brought to our table, I had to summon them over. Then, another table of 7 was seated. Then another table of 2.

It was pretty disappointing that the other two tables placed their orders ahead of us. We waited nearly 30 minutes to place our order and another 30 minutes for the food. The waitress was friendly and did apologize for the wait. The other 2 tables left before we received our food.

I was so looking forward to a turkey dinner, but the food was lukewarm. It didn't come with the cranberry sauce, but the waitress was kind and brought it after asking for it.
My son ordered a side of corn, and that was missing.

It would have been a better experience if they had more staff or worked as a team for the customers because there was one staff folding silverware, so not sure why she couldn't help the server. Then, another staff member was washing tables and took care of the cash register later. The server should have asked the other tables to wait to place their order since we had been seated first of the 3 tables and only table with children.

I felt for the server as she was apologetic and probably overworked but just needs a better process for the ordering.

The kids did like their burgers and sides. The chicken noodle soup was tasty. The chocolate chip cookies were included in the kid's meals and are as tasty as I recall. The steak dinners were good but those who ordered them, thought they were so tiny.

We had somewhere to be even though we went 2 hours prior to our next event. I had to ask the gal folding napkins for a box and the bill.

Unfortunately, I don't know when we'll return or if we'll return. I feel like maybe this is an unfortunate turn that has changed many restaurant businesses after Covid.

The staff was horrible. The waitress told me that it'll be 15 minutes to get a slice of pie that was right in front of her! With her arms crossed, and a smirk on her face. Not a good place to go!!!

Had dinner at Perkins the other night, and Brittany, our waitress, was awesome. She was super friendly and made sure everything went smooth without hovering, which I really appreciated. It felt like she actually cared about us having a good experience, not just rushing through the motions.

I had the Country Fried Steak and a slice of the peanut butter silk pie for dessert—both were great, but honestly, Brittany was the highlight. She kept my coffee full (and hot!) the whole time and even noticed my wife wasn’t crazy about her first choice and helped her switch it out without any hassle.

It’s been a while since I had service that good. If you’re going to this Perkins, ask for Brittany—she’s the real deal.
