I came in determined to be miserable.

You know those days where you want to be in a bad mood? That was me. I was ready to sit in a corner, order something bland, and silently judge everything while glaring into the void.

Unfortunately, the staff here RUINED that plan.

First, the host smiled at me. Rude. Then the server was attentive without hovering—like, pick a struggle. And don’t even get me started on the food. It was hot, delicious, and clearly made with love, which really got in the way of me wallowing in self-pity.

The ambiance was warm, the music was great, and worst of all? I accidentally left in a better mood than I came in. Disgusting.

Would not recommend... if you're committed to staying grumpy.

Excellent Mexican food

I’m so bummed! So many people have told me how great this place is, so we ordered dinner from here to bring home. When we got home, there were no chips and no queso that we ordered.

Both my husband and I got different burritos off the menu…mine came with guacamole on top and it was disgustingly brown. Like, brown in a way that it didn’t just “start” browning like guacamole and avocados do. I scooped it off. The portions are fine, definitely leftovers. Especially if you don’t eat much of it..

We tried calling but no one answered so we left a message and never heard back so this is definitely a place I won’t be back to, I’ll go to the other Mexican establishments in town which I’m a fan of. Just disappointed in this place. I was so excited..

Absolutely amazing food and service. Easily the best Mexican restaurant in Fargo.

Every time we travel to Fargo, Plaza Azteca is always our first stop! Excellent food, amazing drinks with a fun atmosphere. My question is when are you guys moving down to the Blaine Minnesota area???

This place is a gem. Food is superrr tasty and authentic. Loved the guac which is made fresh to your liking live at your table. Amazing !!!

I gave 5 stars as the food, atmosphere, and service were spot on. However the Sizzling Fajitas, as titled in the menu, were not sizzling. They were on the warm side. Overall a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this spot.

Very good table side guacamole! Burrito was huge but had an odd white sauce on it. Still good though. Chips came with a rojo and blanco dip. The blanco was a bit like ranch dip. A bit odd again. All in all, I’d go again for sure.
