Ordered supper by way of door dash from here, while staying at Sanford. Delish! The hangover burger was bomb ! & The tender melt was a colossal sandwich worth trying twice ! The curly fries were ok ... But there standard fry's were on point !

My husband and I visited this place last Saturday afternoon. The service was great, we sat at the bar. The establishment is really neat and has a good atmosphere. Only complaint was that it was really cold. We had a bloody mary, it was ok. The food was good. We got the truffle fries, sweet potato fries, the ranch flight, and the truffle mac and cheese.

Did not come close to the hype, fries taste like oil, small burgers vs price. Ordered drink and never got it until I asked about it twice. Wouldn't go back again

We were in Fargo for the day and wanted to find a lunch spot and much to my surprise we found a place called POUNDS! How fitting and a sign that we found our lunch spot. The atmosphere was spot on, a very welcoming vibe. There is outdoor seating, indoor seating, and a bar. The menu is a QR scan on your phone. We chose the Poutine and a Californication Burger with Fries and both were delicious. I had a seasonal Pumpkin draft beer to wash it down. Great spot in a really cool area in Fargo. Don’t Miss It!!

Funky and electric vibes make this dining experience truly unique. The burgers were cooked to perfection and the sauce options were endless. We got the ranch sampler and highly recommend it to go along with your fries. The prices were very fair enough to maybe this a regular going out spot if you live nearby.

A great pet friendly restaurant downtown Fargo. A nice little outdoor seating area and they provide sunscreen and water for the dogs. Nice touches!

Great friendly service. The food is misleading… when I first received my hangover burger I noticed the two tiny patties so I thought they would be dry but I was pleasantly mistaken one of the other reviews said to try the parm truffle fries and after doing so I couldn’t agree more. Will definitely be coming back to eat here again

Parking: It’s right at the tracks so parking is kind of limited

Kid-friendliness: They have soft booster seats for kids

When Pounds was at its old location the building was cold, dark, and uncomfortable. The new location on Broadway and Main is very spacious and sunny because of the large windows with natural light. The location surprises me as I would think the area would get much less traffic, but they are still in business, so I guess they are doing fine.

I ordered an item from the Hippie menu. It was tasty, I imagine healthy, and different. There was corn with black beans, an avocado dollop of mushed up stuff but not guacamole, root vegetables, and rice that was somewhat spicy. It was good. I was on a healthy kick that day.

I also had some of the poutine which had pulled pork and gravy on it with cheese melted. The cheese was way too salty for me as well as the fries. The person I was with loved it.

The venue looks like they have bands there because there is so much space and the windows in front of the building look like they roll up so that the entire wall can be opened.

This place was nice. I would think such a large area would feel empty and cavernous but the decor made it seem cozy. There were blue tones with yellow and couches with coffee tables and chairs set up. It seems like a great place to talk and have friends meet.

Vegetarian options: There’s a section of the menu where you can choose between about six different items that are vegetarian under Hippie

Would give 0 stars. Manager had a terrible attitude towards us. Not professional at all. It was my birthday and I just wanted a nice dinner with my girl friends. Will not be returning.

Pounds!!! Why remove your dry rub from the menu? It made your wings, a wing above the rest. Now, it’s like a hangout vibe but nothing stands out. Your truffle fries are good - BUT, they went well with the wings, not enough for us to return. Disappointed.

PS - It was freezing in there last night and very uncomfortable!
