A clean, modern venue with a surprisingly big-city feel
The food was very good without being great. Coffee was weak and tasted like tar. Waitress gave me a free cookie and ice cream for my birthday after we had a decadent breakfast. It was fun people watching on the street and inside, though that was mostly business travellers (whom we mocked with fake stories).
It wasn't our favorite for the food, but the atmosphere was great and we loved our waitress!
My first visit to Rosewild was a great one. Friendly staff, clean surroundings and phenomenal food. I ordered their entry to the Fargo Burger Royale challenge along with bacon wrapped potatoes as an appetizer. Sooo good. Thank you for a great experience.
Large restaurant with fun, modern color scheme. Lengthy bar. Woodfire oven made whole place smell terrific. Service was solid on a Sunday night. Cocktails were eclectic and delish. We ordered the dutch baby to start. It was brought to the table in a tiny cast iron pan. Cute but taste-wise underwhelming.
We had Swedish meatballs as an appetizer. Served in another tiny cast iron pan on a bed of mashed potatoes with lingonberries. Delicious but so are Ikea's. Not being snarky. There really was no dif except price.
Roger had roast chicken with roast vegies. Chicken was huge and golden. He dug in and had some to take home. Beautifully plated. He enjoyed it.
I had pasta Primavera presented in--? You guessed it: A tiny cast iron pan! (I hope the dishwasher is getting paid well.) If there was pasta in this dish, I did not find it. There was some yummy cheese over sliced zucchini under a mound of bread crumbs. I mean, a serious mound. Like, the kind you could bury a body under! I had to scrape it away, or I'd just have a forkful of bread crumbs. Disappointing dish.
I also ordered the watermelon salad. Once again, if a dish comes with a side salad, please politely point that out to your guest. The pastaless primavera had a very nice, crisp, garden salad on side. So, I had 2 salads but no pasta. It's okay. I needed the roughage. Took the leftovers home for lunch the next day.
Anyhoo... The reason this is so long is that some of you may be looking for an upscale restaurant for a special night out.
I recommend cocktails at the bar.
Great service. Loved the food, and a good drink menu!
Food is always very unique and tasty. I do wish they would put more Brussel Sprouts in the side dish vs. nuts, but my husband and I did love the fried cauliflower and fried chicken sandwich (a lot of meat, crunchy/flavorful coating). My only area of improvement for the restaurant would be the service. We have been here five times since they have opened and the service leaves a lot to be desired every time. I do appreciate the waitress checking in with us often, but she would be looking out the window and didn't seem fully present. It also usually takes a while for the food to come out and in previous visits even the drinks, but that doesn't bother me as much as the lackluster service. Again, the food is really unique though, comes out hot/fresh and we always enjoy everything we get. We also have noticed that sometimes we are offered a free dessert if we are celebrating a special occasion and other times we aren't (we always go for a special occasion).
Our food was delicious, our server, Molly was exceptional to make our brunch fun and relaxing.
We haven’t tried this hotel or restaurant for a couple years since we were placed in a room below price paid and had an exceedingly bad meal at Rosewild. We now stay at Donaldson but such a nice day to eat outside- decided to give Rosewild another try. BUMMER. Ordered the NY strip med rare. Fully med well received. To exchange potato for Brussel sprouts $2. Extra…. Might have been the worst steak ever but the dogs were happy. Two strikes….
A fantastic spot for date nights, anniversaries, or any special occasion. Even for a casual hangout, this place suits all your needs. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is gorgeous—warm, welcoming, and relaxing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It's also located in a lovely area, perfect if you're looking to explore or enjoy a nice evening out.
Dinner at Rose wild was an absolutely delicious treat! I had the local walleye dish in a spinach cream sauce. It was out of this world, delicious beautifully presented, and lovingly served. I would highly recommend Rosewild! Nice vibe, attentive service and delicious meal & local beers on tap.

Great architecture, location, service at night. Limited menu. Don't order lasagna. Limited wine options by the glass.
We enjoyed our brunch at Rosewild. The service and food was great! We also loved the interior of the restaurant.
The meal was excellent. Hanger steak, walleye, and pork cheeks. Crispy cauliflower and burnt ends for our starters. We loved every bite!!
I’ve stayed at the Jasper Hotel twice in the past month. I love the hotel! I’ve dined here eight times. Four times each stay. I cannot in good conscience leave a positive review. Poor service, forgotten items, slow service. I would love to give the restaurant a positive review and this review is not based on one dining experience. I would love to see the service of the restaurant mirror the great service of the hotel, it unfortunately does not.
Good food, quick and friendly service. Wish the food portion size was a little bigger for the price paid.
