I’ve stayed at the Jasper Hotel twice in the past month. I love the hotel! I’ve dined here eight times. Four times each stay. I cannot in good conscience leave a positive review. Poor service, forgotten items, slow service. I would love to give the restaurant a positive review and this review is not based on one dining experience. I would love to see the service of the restaurant mirror the great service of the hotel, it unfortunately does not.

The atmosphere was nice. I had a reservation at a non busy time. However, the server didn't bother coming to check on us, like ever. We had another server get our refills. The food was expensive for no flavor. I had the spaghetti. The meat was hard and chewy. The only flavor I tasted was the pepper the server put on for me. The only good thing was the fries.

Great atmosphere. Best iced tea in Fargo. Fun to stop when walking downtown and the staff are cordial.

We just ate the Thanksgiving Buffet, Was very disappointed potatoes and stuffing were pasty. The only option for a hot vegetable was black beans. Turkey was good. There was 3 adults 2 kids none of us went back for seconds. My bill $385, the food was not worth that.

Went here for thanksgiving, I really wasn’t impressed for the price I had to pay.
1. The way it was set up really didn’t make much sense, turkey and prime rib set up with the cold items, not near the mashed potatoes, dressing etc..
They should have really thought this through a little more. Hot items with cold items and vice versa.
2. they automatically put a 20% gratuity onto your bill for the smorgasbord, which I do tip very well anyhow, but the problem is we seen our waitress 2 times in the almost 2 hours we were there. So her tip was $55 and then I went to pay and she asked me if I wanted change back. Had I not notice the gratuity charge already she would have received well over $100 tip. You always seen the other wait staff but not her. I had to ask someone else for a pop.

If you do this again next year. Do better!

If you were planning on going to my wife’s favorite restaurant, the Bern Baum and discover it’s permanently closed the wild roses a great second option you’ll need to add mint to your iced tea to make it perfect but the soup and French onion soup are awesome and they don’t make a bad turkey club either

The best restaurant in Fargo! The service, ambulance, food: everything was beyond perfect. The fact that it's dog friendly on the patio makes it even better for those with fur babies.

The Swedish Meatballs were very authentic (I have had them in Sweden). I never had a Dutch baby before, but what they served here was heavenly. The French Onion Agnolotti was ..umm ”chefs kiss”...

The old fashioned was just perfect as well and we left with a very complete dining experience. Highly recommend this place if you are on town.

This is a poor attempt at an upscale restaurant that I can only imagine passes in a smaller city. While not expensive, it is more expensive than most meals we have had in the Dakotas and does not rank in the top five. This would be a 2-3 star restaurant on the east coast. The waiters try; but, forget details of several requests even when asked multiple times. The salmon was overly fishy and showed a lack of true preparation such as being covered in garnish and drowned in sauce. The drinks were overly sweet to include the Old Fashioned and the the Espresso Martini. All forms of subtle flavor are lost on this kitchen. Our waiter tried, he was nice; but, he was clearly not trained in fine dining. This was a failure of management, not the waiter or kitchen brigade. Most every issue we noticed pointed at poor management with an eager staff unable to meet the standards of the price point and adjoining hotel. Most egregious is an “upscale” restaurant charging a credit card recovery fee as if it is a low end Pho restaurant. To be fair to the Pho restaurant, it has the courtesy of providing a discount for paying cash over a gauche cc recovery fee. Overall, expect a faux upscale dining experience that indicates poor, if not completely missing, management and a sub-par dining experience that would only suffice the most naive of diners. Truly a disappointment.

Our table was by the window as requested and the ambience was lovely. Our server, Alfred, was friendly and excellent. We tried the broccolini appetizer and it was a good mix of flavors. The hangar steak was perfectly cooked and delicious!

Being a high end hotel you would expect better food. Breakfast service was not great, server never came back to ask us how our food was or needed a refill. Server was also not friendly. We will be back at the hotel but not the restaurant.

Great experience dining at Rosewild on my birthday! My husband and I got the Dutchbaby and Crunchy Cauliflower for appetizers, both were fantastic. Parmesan walleye and a beef burger with fries for dinner (not pictured) - the walleye was delicious although there were quite a few chickpeas on the side which aren't my favorite, but the burger was amazing! For dessert we had the chocolate cake with lingonberry icecream - to die for!!! Overall had such a great time and the customer service was over and above, we didn't want to leave! Our server Shannon was so sweet :)
