Whenever I pass by Silver Lining Creamery the line is out the door. Today there was no line so I stopped in. The store was clean and the decor was really cute. The menu was unique. I expected a mix of traditional ice cream flavors and some creative seasonal options. I decided on the salted banana pecan, thinking that's the closest I will get to butter pecan. I was disappointed. The banana flavor was overwhelming in a very artificial way. The pecan flavor was non-existent. I plan to visit again but I will sample first before making a selection.

We spotted this shop on our tour of downtown. We stopped in and had a couple of scoops. I ordered German Chocolate Cake and Jeremy's Dream. Both were delicious but I'd definitely go back for the German Chocolate Cake.

Best ice cream experience. Creamy and delicious all the time. The flavors rotate so you don't find the same one from a week to another. Service staff is always very efficient and courteous even when it gets really busy. Some seating inside but plenty in the square right outside.
Try the flight sampler- generous portions and so many incredible flavors!

I went here the other day to try some more of the local businesses and came in for an ice cream, a banana split actually. I was told by the young person behind the counter that there were no more bananas. This is where the business can pitch you a few choices of local favorites and I even said out loud, that I couldn't see the menu (that is on the back wall). Any recommendation would have been appreciated but it never came. So my experience was not good. The I cream I got was good.

Typically I don’t eat ice cream, I’m just not a huge fan of it. In fact the prior 36 years of my life I would say I maybe ate it once or twice a year total. Since discovering Silver Linings about 6 months ago I have had Silver Linings’ ice cream at least 3-5 times a week, it’s so good I cannot stop eating it! Except I might run out before their break is over!
