Everything I've tried here is exceptional and authentic, from Miso soup, Gyoza, Korean BBQ Ribs, Shrimp Lemongrass appetizer, Kung Pao Shrimp, and Hawaiian Chicken Teriyaki!! Can't wait to try another dish!!! Sorry, we didn't take pics...too busy enjoying!!!

I came to Soho 23 for lunch with my husband, and we both loved it! The food looked simple, but the flavors were anything but! Each item had a bold, authentic taste and we left satisfied with every aspect of our experience. Service was great and our bill was lower than we expected. All around a great choice.

The service was second to none. We felt welcomed and taken care of the entire time. Our kids had food explained to them, and my picky eater six year old ate the food here! He even loved the broccoli!

This is a high quality, home-cooked meal restaurant. The chef and owner seem to care very much about the quality of the food served here. My wife and I tried the Salt and Pepper Calamari, Mochiko Chicken, and Loco Moco.
Each of these dishes were wonderful in their own right. The calamari batter was seasoned perfectly and was a great starter for the meal. Both the Loco Moco and the Mochiko Chicken were full of flavor. Presented on top of some fluffy white rice and a side of Hawaiian style Mac Salad, the dishes were balanced and very filling. Also, the miso soup tasted like my grandma's miso soup.
Overall, the restaurant was neat, clean, and welcoming. If you want good food and you like home style cooking, just go here. You won't regret it and you'll leave with a happy belly.

I had the Chicken Mochiko, Buldak, chicken bulgogi, and firecracker shrimp with my wife. Everything here was flavorful and good. I loved the spicy mayo to dunk my food in. The firecracker shrimp and the mochiko chicken were my wife and my favorites here but the miso soup was also much better than most places. The spice is spicy if you have low to medium spice tolerance but everything was more flavorful than spicy.
Comfortable environment and the service is great for a small place. The owner is very kind and involved in all aspects. Love the environment and will definitely be coming back.
Portions are also reasonable, not too much or too little. I eat a lot and was very content with it all.
The only reason the service wasn't 5 stars is just because they have limited staff. The staff there gave 5 star service but it takes some time to do everything that the staff needs to do.

We were at Soho23 restaurant this evening and had a very enjoyable meal! The food was excellent, the restaurant is very clean, and the service was great! The owner is very friendly and took the time to answer all of our questions. If you are looking for Korean/Japanese food, I would highly recommend Soho!
