Checked out the restaurant because it was listed as the best Italian restaurant in ND. It is an accolade well deserved. My sister and I took our 96 year old mother out to lunch. It was a miserably cold day with the cold coming in whenever someone opened the door- a portable heater was brought over to make sure that mom was comfortable. We wanted to order several pasta dishes and share them family style - no problem. Food and service were both exceptional - can't wait to go back!

I was excited to try out this place because of all of the great reviews. I unfortunately was disappointed. The best part was the complimentary focaccia. It was so soft and dense. The olive tapenade served with it was good but basic. Since we were there for lunch I’ll mention their daily lunch menu was an option for $18, but very limited. So I ordered from the dinner menu. I ordered the seasonal salad. A bed of arugula with grapes,walnuts and goat cheese dressed with balsamic vinaigrette. It was a good thing I really like arugula because the toppings were scant, and it was underdressed. I also ordered the mushroom risotto to go, and yes, I know that reheating things later can decrease the quality. But fortunately, there was a pool of butter that I ended up being thankful for, as the risotto was bland. What an expensive disappointment.

True Italian food and atmosphere. Small restaurant in gentrified part of downtown Fargo where the food is genuine and the owner is right there to be sure it's the best dining experience you've ever had. AMAZING!!!!!?

Jacob is the best server I have ever had! He was incredibly knowledgeable and guided my food and wine choices perfectly. He was beyond kind and made our girls night extra special. I will be back and hope to see him again!!! Fantastic food, wine, & dessert!

My boyfriend and I drove here from gfk to run some errands and was craving Italian food (something authentic and not like olive garden which is all that gfk has🤣) and we were so impressed!!! We don’t eat out much in North Dakota because it’s hard to find decent restaurants, but the food at Spaghetti Western was delicious!!!
One thing is that the service was a little slow even tho there weren’t much people today. From the time we got our appetizers to our mains was 30 mins. Luckily we didn’t have much to do today so it was okay.
The tomato bruschetta was sooo delicious and fresh. I ordered the a seafood pasta from the specials menu and my boyfriend had the meat sauce pasta. They were both delicious especially the homemade pasta. I will say the meat sauce was OK, it was a bit watery and not as meaty and tomatoey as we liked. The tiramisu was also very yummy and moist. I’m so happy we found this place, we will definitely be coming back here :)

My family and I ate dinner on December 26, 2025 at Spaghetti Western and we had an amazing experience! This is the day after Christmas and we had spent 3 days together at this point and we were looking for a fun evening outside of the house. There were six adults and a four-year-old in our group. The food was amazing! One of our members has gluten sensitivity yet her meal was fantastic and she wasn’t treated as though she was causing the kitchen a problem. The ambience and atmosphere was top shelf! However, unexpectedly, the service was outstanding and beyond our considerations! Our server was Jacob and I can’t recommend him more highly. He’s very good! We were looking for a fun and enjoyable evening and Jacob insured that happened. He treated us like we were the only customers in the restaurant, and of course it was full. He had us laughing and smiling and having a thoroughly enjoyable time together. We’ve lived in the FM community over 40 years and this is by far the best meal we’ve had at any FM area restaurant. I highly recommend Spaghetti Western and make sure you ask for Jacob as your server!

We had the absolute BEST girls' night at Spaghetti Western last weekend! The atmosphere was perfect for a night out with friends, and the wine was definitely flowing. Our server, Nathan, was a highlight of the night—he was so cheerful and really helped make our meal fun. As for the food, the caprese was amazing; the basil oil was such a refreshing twist on a classic! All of our entrees were delicious, and we finished off with the tiramisu, which was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. We will definitely be back!

Every single meal I enjoyed at Spaghetti Western was a 10/10. All ingredients are sourced with care and the recipes and flavours are authentic: truly a home away from home and the perfect cure for homesickness whilst being away from Italy. I love it. This place is very authentic. The real flavors and charm of Bella Napoli are here. It's the real thing, and don't forget dessert.

They refused to seat us with the place nearly empty because “we are too busy and the system automatically pumped your reservation until next week”. Save your time, dine somewhere else.
