Checked out the restaurant because it was listed as the best Italian restaurant in ND. It is an accolade well deserved. My sister and I took our 96 year old mother out to lunch. It was a miserably cold day with the cold coming in whenever someone opened the door- a portable heater was brought over to make sure that mom was comfortable. I was excited to try out this place because of all of the great reviews. I unfortunately was disappointed. The best part was the complimentary focaccia. It was so soft and dense. The olive tapenade served with it was good but basic.
Since we were there for lunch I’ll mention their daily lunch menu was an option for $18, but very limited. So I ordered from the dinner menu.

True Italian food and atmosphere. Small restaurant in gentrified part of downtown Fargo where the food is genuine and the owner is right there to be sure it's the best dining experience you've ever had. AMAZING!!!!!?
