My food was absolutely delicious but our service was awful. The restaurant was not even that busy this day and yet we had to wait 15 minutes at least to even get a menu or drink order. The sign says to seat yourself and we even said hello to staff and yet no one took care of us. Then when we were finally taken care of our food was delicious. We also saw another group of people get terrible service and it was pretty rough to watch.

Sat there for 15 minutes with zero acknowledgment, even though some of the staff members saw us walk in. Customers came in afterwards that were assisted, and we were still ignored. We finally left and thankful we did… headed down to Blackbird and the service and food was incredible!

Highly recommend training your staff to be welcoming, floor aware, and friendly. One star for the cool atmosphere, zero for the service.

We stopped in an hour before closing because the decor looked interesting and the menu seemed intriguing. It took far too long to be acknowledged after we were seated--and it appeared to be the bar manager--who was rude and abrupt in giving us our menus, acting inconvenienced. He said he'd be back in a few minutes so we could look at the menu, but returned in under 30 seconds and seemed perturbed that we hadn't even had a chance to discuss any options. He then took nearly 10 minutes to return, even though we made our selection in 3-4 and put the menus at the edge of the table, and was mostly chatting with other employees and avoiding work. After he took our order, he failed to put it in for OVER 5 minutes, instead suddenly ringing up receipts (the food was then shockingly quickly ready though).

We were going to choose three menu items to share, along with a beer, but decided upon only two after the rude treatment. The beer selection was decent, but I don't recall our choice.

The food was bland and uninspired, the Knoephla bordering on awful. The Tomato Pesto Grilled Cheese was bland, though the Tomato Basil soup for dipping on the side was very good. The side of home made kettle chips was dreadful.

There is a slightly swanky back room and I think it's more of a place for locals to drink fancy scotch or tequila. As a restaurant, it's an abysmal failure (even if the historic artifacts and bizarre counter weighted bathroom doors were a hoot!).

One of the two bad experiences on our restaurant tour of Fargo.

Basil tomato was nothing to write home about. Got greasy bottom of the bag chips. The half grilled cheese was just larger than a credit card. But worst of all, the soup cup was not clean. Better places downtown.

The food here is presented very nicely and is very delicious, the staff are friendly and helpful and the drinks are amazing! The mixologist in the Roosevelt Room in back makes some tasty, unique drinks that are some of the best in town! She takes great care making the drinks, she is very friendly and very informative! She is one of the best around!

Perfect tucked away date night spot. Wine and the bruschetta and spinach artichoke dip were delicious. Our server Sarah was attentive and fun. We will most definitely be back!

We were walking down Robert's Alley in Fargo and randomly bumped into some people who recommended we check out Back Alley Bar—great call. The bartenders, Lou and David, were awesome and brought such great energy to the place. The crowd was fun, the music was on point, and the drinks were both amazing and super reasonably priced. Definitely one of those unexpected gems. Would absolutely come back, and there’s plenty to do in the area too.

We had a wonderful time tonight at Teddy's. We sat in the upper room we had reserved and had a group of 15. The service was absolutely top shelf!! We felt like the most important people in the place. The drinks were great, the appetizers were good, the dinner was wonderful, and the vibe was perfect. Really enjoyed my BBQ Brisket Sandwich. They really made our event special.

Thanks to Royce and the whole team!!

The service was right on point. The drinks were very tasty. The dip, does not taste like spinach or artichoke at all. It tastes like cream cheese. It comes with chips and baguettes. The baguette slices were not too crunchy. I requested flatbread and I received it for $6 more.

Such a cozy little place with delicious food and drinks!
Friendly and attentive staff as well, I highly recommend it!
They’ve got a cool little speak-easy style bar in the back that’s open Wednesday through Saturday evenings 7-12 or so, it’s such a vibe!
