Traveling for work and was looking for something filling with my husband. We had the super nachos and I had the French dip. Hands down the best one I’ve ever had. So much flavor and exceeded my expectations! I hate I was only in the area for a few days before we moved on to the next. If I’m ever in the area I will definitely be back for this !

I say too honestly, this is a dive, plain and simple, but... But, being the location that it's in, this is a great spot, as it's just down the road from the dome, and practically walking distance, and it's surrounded by the NDSU die hard bison fan neighborhood. If you want to be surrounded by horny bison fans, this is your gig. Before the game, after the game, who doesn't have a ticket to see the stampede? The turf IS your ticket. And - let's not forget the pregame tailgate party; just a little stroll away, you don't want to miss that! After those libations and while wanderin through the crowd of the herd, cheer on the players heading in and jam out to the rhythm of the horny Bison NDSU marching band, raising a stampede on your way down to the turf. There is no better way to show your color and represent your spirit, even if you got no ticket. Or gear...

Oh! Yo! Be in the know! Get down to the Bison's home town stompin ground, where the sound of the herd IS-heard pound for pound, all around, their opponents go crumblin down .... Hard knocks that drops the pesky opponents to the ground, be loud ma'-man! This is Bison Turf, -on Bison Land, in Bison country, it's the Bison Clan.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A Fargo Favorite! The Bison Turf is hands down one of the best spots in town. The food is consistently great — flavorful, satisfying, and perfect whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for the night. Their drink specials are top-notch and hard to beat, making it a great value without sacrificing quality. What really sets the Turf apart is the atmosphere. It's got that perfect mix of laid-back and lively, whether you're there for a game, a night out with friends, or just winding down. And the staff? Absolutely amazing. Friendly, fast, and always on point — they make you feel welcome every time you walk through the door. If you haven’t checked out The Bison Turf yet, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t be disappointed.

Good place! Definitely an NDSU hangout for college students. Outside of the really intoxicated student coming by here n there. It was fun and an eventful place.

A bunch of the family met up at Bison Turf before going to the NDSU men’s basketball game tonight. There were not many people here before the game, but the NDSU football team did play earlier today. There were plenty of seating options for groups of people to sit in the front and the back. TV’s surround the place and they all had college football games on them. There were dart boards, a pool table, and I was told a large area on the roof (never made it up there on this December day) for people to sit and get their drink on. The beer selection on-tap was a little limited compared to other places I have been recently, but they had a beer I wanted. The staff was attentive and helpful. The music was a bit loud. I’ve never enjoyed shouting into someone’s face when they were sitting next to me so that they could hear me, and of course, them shouting back into my face so I could hear them. I would like to try Bison Turf again for sure. Maybe a good time would be when the weather is nicer and I could also check out the roof! Cheer to North Dakota!

Bonjour tout le monde

Fargo has been on my bucket list since I watched the movie ?. I drove around 3.5 hrs (trying very hard not to speed) and this place was one of the few places to be open late, which is strange because it’s on the NDSU campus. In any case, the kitchen closes at 10pm for all those who might wanna come out here in the wee hours of the morning.

It’s basically a campus "bar" or "pub" (depending on which side of the pond you are from!) and happens to have a kitchen. The menu looks awesome, however the ingredients are provided by Sysco - the factory food sourcing & supplying giant. I had the beef brisket and when I asked the server (Nikki?) where the beef was from (she didn’t know) she asked and told me Sysco. Unfortunately, I was mostly done with the meal and couldn’t eat the rest so back it went.

They do have a few nonalcoholic beers. No fancy brands (like we happen to have in QC).

I started to drive back at 10:10pm and was back in YWG by 2:00am-ish.

Fargo has been ✅
