Food was overall good but the selection seems fairly limited. Wait staff was courteous but our food (a sandwich and wrap) took almost an hour to receive during which time we did not see the wait staff for refills or to check on us. Service has been extremely slow the last couple of times we visited. Disappointed as this used to be one of our favorite places to go in both the cities and Fargo.

My food was cold when I got it, sent it back & then the meat was tough. Bland and no flavor . Tried the side of waffler fries while waiting for my sandwich to come back & they were cold. It was just a terrible experience. Definitely Overpriced, for cold food. It wasn’t busy at all either. Made me feel like I got someone’s mistake from the noon hour. No excuse for serving cold food !

If you haven't gone, you need to. Clean, almost sterile interior, but food that is delicious, and items you won't find on most restaurant menus. (I had the Stroganoff. When elwas the last time you had that at a restaurant? And it was totally legit and delicious!)

Service was good but disappointed in our meal. We have eaten here many times, with great food. Today, not so much. Ordered the French Dip. Sandwich was very bland, with very little aïoli sauce, but the au jus was very bland and misty oil. Needless to say, disappointed in our meal tonight.

To expensive for two people having soup, fish and chips and some chicken paying 74$ Not gonna go anymore! Too loud music, people need to talk loud! The food need to be better for that money

Don't come here much, but recent experience was very positive. Would encourage restaurant to continue to offer unique dishes like the chicken saltanboca. Was very good. Service was good as well. Too many bar/restaurants have all the same options.
Burgers were good but they weren't cooked as ordered. The kids enjoyed their mac and cheese. The baked spaghetti needed more sauce.

The Tavern has changed over the years but I keep going back because they are one of the few restaurants that have the impossible burger and you can build it the way you want. I LOVE it and is the only thing I order otherwise service isn’t the friendliest but it depends on your server, of course. But if you’re looking for a delish impossible burger, I recommend :) You can always get it to go, as well. Prices are a bit high but not insane. Thanks!
