Went with family for dinner. The food; while expensive, was very tasty, however the atmosphere wasn't great. The overhead lighting bothered several members of my party and the chairs were uncomfortable. I'd go again if invited, but would prefer to carry-out if given the choice.

We dined here for Valentines day. Our server could have taken a lesson on customer service. He was nice but very timid and seemed nervous. He also forgot about my drink for about 30 minutes and apologized but at that point would have appreciated something to make it right. The other staff was attentive and brought us our meals, silverware and condiments. I had to ask for water refills each time.
The starter salad with the lemon vinegarette was delightful. The steak and frites was delicious. My husband enjoyed the ribeye. My sister and her husband ordered the fried pickles and that's was a hit. She ordered the scallops and said they were cooked perfectly. We ordered the chocolate hazelnut cheese cake and loved it.
The entertainment was very fun! I'd try it again.

This is a fantastic establishment! 10/10! If you find yourself in downtown fargo make sure to stop by. First the N/A drink the bartender made genuinely broght a smile to my face with how well it was made and tasted. For dinner I had the steak frites, steak was perfectly cooked but I have to say the frites rocked my world! I had to force myself to stop eating them, never had fries that crispy, that fresh and tasted that good! But the highlight was the owner, he was very friendly, running drinks and food, clearing tables. He truly cares for customers and great taste and it shows! I was by myself and he personally checked on me and was a joy to chat with. He even bought me a dessert, and would not let me pay for it! And the dessert was absolutely one of the best desserts iv ever had! I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called but it had this perfect custard (or i think it was custard) topped with raspberry reduction and pistachios! It truly was a fantastic experience. If you like good food, drinks and atmosphere, this is the place for you!

My girlfiends and I visited about a month ago for ladies night. It was decently busy. We ordered our drinks and they came quickly. Ordered cheesy pickles, those are still great. I ordered the filet, medium rare, definitely was medium to well. Brocolli was over cooked. One waitress, not ours kept bringing random things to our table that were supposed to go to a different table, and eventually ended up spilling a drink in one of my friends purses. The new owner was helping serve our table the entire time, wearing sweat pants and a grungy t shirt, while the rest of the staff looked great in their black. Definitely not the caliber it was before. If you want to be an upscale restuarant, dress for it, and cook your equivalent to the prices you charge. Will not be back, much better restuarants in the FM area. Lastly, do not treat your staff like crap, and hire family members and think business will go wonderfully.

Unfortunately, the new ownership appears to have ruined everything that made the Toasted Frog great in the first place. Whoever the current head chef is cares more about how food will look in photos than how it actually tastes! Menu items are constantly running out and their drinks are constantly running out too—even mixed drinks, when there are multiple liquor stores within a mile or two!
The cheesey pickles are still good, but they aren't as good as they used to be. Also, it looks like the new owners are paying to be have fake star reviews. A very sad state for the restaurant!
Came here around lunch time on a Friday afternoon with only 1 other party seated. Service was very slow and over half the menu was unavailable to order from as well as unavailable drink options. Staff were also audibly coughing while preparing the food. Will not be back.

We have been coming to Toasted Frog for years. When ownership changed this past summer, we were worried about how the restaurant might have changed. I can say with full sincerity that Toasted Frog is better than ever! Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable- she recommended great choices and they were all a hit! We had the Porchetta (one of our top 10 things we’ve ever eaten) and the Alfredo, and ended with the best carrot cake I’ve ever had. To top it off, the owners could be seen supporting and helping their very busy staff and visiting with patrons, and that says a lot. Great work Toasted Frog! We’ll be back soon!
