We celebrated our one-year anniversary at The Toasted Frog, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. The new owner, Ryan, has brought an incredible energy to the place, and it shows in every detail—from the atmosphere to the service to the food. Ryan went above and beyond to make our evening special. He personally checked in on us, made thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel genuinely celebrated. It wasn’t just great service; it was the kind of hospitality you remember long after the night is over. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt crafted with care, and you could tell the entire team takes pride in what they do. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a special occasion like ours. The star of the show here for me was definitely the rabbit leg, followed closely by the best carrot cake I’ve ever had in my life. The frosting was so light and delicate. Absolutely to die for.
The duck was a little on the game-y side for my tastes, but the person who ordered ate every bite(this was actually their second time back recently and ordered this same meal).
Fantastic and friendly. I’d definitely come back and try something new.

Just had a Norwegian Lager with my Minnesotan wild rice risotto & an Asia inspired panko crusted chicken cutlet. Mixed in a smidge of Sirracha that came with my husband's Mahi Mahi fish tacos and it was like Texas & Minnesota shook hands. Nice fushion of flavors & everything was so delicious!!

Most recent visit… Excellent service. Water glass was never empty, soda refills kept coming, staff was always available to order another martini or mule! Started with fried pickles and wings. I am not a huge fan of Fried pickles but they were good. The wings were great, Fired, smoky, with a savory buffalo sauce. Chicken and wild rice risotto was very good. Sausage pizza was very good. The caprese tower was good but a little spendy for what is served.
Nice atmosphere, great service, good food. Wings and drinks to start... Caesars and Mules. Finished with a Margherita pizza 🍕
Fine end dinning with a amazing staff and good portions, had the filet mignon as well as my guest. Also with full bar and beer/wine list. Great spot for any anniversary

Family also got the salmon and polenta (which was “delicious”), and the walleye piccata (“light and flavorful”). Highly recommend if you’re in Fargo looking for an elevated place to eat and enjoy a cocktail.

We HIGHLY recommend the Toasted Frog under the new owner, Ryan. The wine list is fabulous, and the food was 5 stars all around. In our group we had the salmon, the filet mignon, scallops, fish tacos and pizza. All 5 stars. Best sweet potato fries in town too. He is also adding some great artistic touches to the decor. Great atmosphere. We are verrry excited to have this place in Fargo.
