Let me start off with the music was wonderful for Vday. Besides that, food was ok. Service was not good! Will I be back.... probably not. We were there for 2 and a half hours and had to flag our sever down everytime we needed something. The other couple we were with there food got messed up. They didn't tell us they were out of Brussel sprouts which is why my friend ordered her food to begin with. So when she got it she was super disappointed. Ontop of getting her food 20min after every one else. When we received our bill it was totally messed up. I had to write it out who's food was who's and even a 2nd time it was messed up. Our server was irrated which isn't our fault on the mistakes. And when we left we still tipped her very well and she was less than thankful. Also when leaving I asked about brunch times and 4 servers didn't know the times or details and noone could seem to find the manager. And when 1 server took it upon herself to ask the front desk about brunch times she said we didn't have brunch and the serve says yes we do. So noone knows what the heck is going on apparently. I do wanna add we ordered the urban 42 burgers. And they were well over done! like burnt! It was super unorganized and a mess in my opinion!
Had a great Valentine's Day here! The food was great and Kathy Brekke and the 42nd Street Band created an outstanding ambiance. Definitely recommend it.
We were very excited for our Valentines Day dinner at Urban 42 but were unfortunately disappointed with what we got. For $120 we got cold, overcooked, nearly inedible steak; flavorless and undercooked walleye, a tiny glass of warm flat champagne, and one dessert to share that was nearly the only thing we wanted to eat. Also, their alcoholic drinks are $13+ each and are essentially rail liquor and a bunch of sugar to cover the taste. Not sure if it was just this specialty meal but we were feeling pretty frustrated that we spent so much money. Our server also seemed as confused as we were by the whole situation and had to be flagged down and prompted for almost everything - silverware, water, drink menus, the included champagne, etc. We were left feeling like we had wasted out money to say the least.
If you're looking for a place with a nice vibe, this joint can't be beat. We were met with live music and it certainly set the mood. The musicians were fun, kept things light, interacted with the crowd and took song requests. It was really nice. The food, however, was not good. Everything seemed to be unseasoned and items were left behind. When I'm paying a premium for a Valentine's Day menu I expect to enjoy my meal...this was the exact opposite of my real experience. I'm a proud member of the clean plate club on most occasions and I left hungry because the steak was so chewy I probably looked like a cow working a bit of cud. Our server was great.
We had horrible service. Our waitress was not attentive so we had to go to the bar to get drinks often.
We loved it. Everything we ate was amazing in flavor and presentation. My daughter wanted albedo noodles and they made it even though it wasn't on the menu, and it was also the best tasting Alfredo noodles too. The meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned well but not too much. It was pricey but the quality of food made it worth it. Also the lava cake flowed like it does on the TV. I would go again if I was in fargo.
Took my daughters ther for ther 20th and 21st bday supper ribeye meal was 55$ and steak was no lye half fat grisal and half edable meat my meatloaf was black this was just couple problems yes very loud band had to yell across table 4 of us bill came to 235.00 plus tip would never go trrrrfff

It was really busy so food took a while to come. Had the Cajun pasta and buck and cheese pasta . It was good traditional comfort food. Server had good service and filled waters and checked in on us lots.

Not nearly enough staff to work the bar area. Our server was working her tail off, but there really needed to be at least 2 or 3 more servers for a Saturday night with popular band. Not her fault at all, but management needs to take note.

Im writing this while I'm sitting here eating, first and foremost the absolutely WAY to loud terrible band is awful. The appetizer was gross, burnt fried pickles with ketchup and mayo mixed is super trashy. I ordered a cup of beef stew and got served the grossest chili I've ever eaten with a coffee spoon!?!? What kind up upscale place serves soup with a coffee spoon! That's ridiculous. Overall the food was terrible and the atmosphere with the band was dreadful.

We were very disappointed overall. Our reservation was at 6:30 hoping to visit prior to the 70's show. There was a huge birthday party going on with very loud music going so visiting wasn't an option. The show started, the way the tables were set up my back was to the band, was too loud! Food was expensive, $30 for meatloaf??? Will not be returning. We left by 8. Just tooo loud.
It was a perfect evening of dining and entertainment!! The service was stellar and the band was out of this world!!!
Great food, just not a variety of options… but I suppose best to focus on a few good options rather than offer mediocre options. Our waitress went above and beyond serving us

I'm not very impressed with breakfast service, but I'm willing to try again maybe for lunch or dinner.

Outstanding food and service, a little pricey compared to other restaurants in the area but worth it.
