Best filet mignon I've ever had! And the risotto side was phenomenal too. Helix never disappoints, it's always 5 out of 5 stars. The service is always 5-star too. They take really good care of their customers. Helix is easily one of, if not THE, best restaurants in town. Also their Chocolate butterscotch dessert is heavenly!
Been a while since we'd been to Helix and that has been a mistake on our part. My wife and I agreed both of our entrees were absolutely amazing - from the presentation to the taste to the quantity. I had the Braised Beef and Shrimp on Risotto and it was one of the best meals I've had in a LONG time. The beef was totally tender. A rich mushroom sauce complemented the risotta perfectly and the shrimp added an unexpected seafood element that blended so well with everything...
Took my wife here for her birthday. I had made reservations as I had never been here before, but we were the only ones there pretty much so they weren't necessary. Food was outstanding and service was decent. The only issue I had was that they put us in the least romantic/ comfortable area in the whole restaurant. One table that looked like a big round card table right between the bathroom and the kitchen. If they had set us at a decent table.....which the restaurant was...
