This is a hidden gem. The service was great and our food hit the spot. We're just passing through Jamestown ND but we're really happy to eat here rather than one of the chain places. Hondos is at a great location on the reservoir. It's a little out of the way but well worth the drive.
My favorite spot in Jamestown! A unique place on the water with a great menu selection. The food has always been fresh and consistent, and with loads of flavor! My favorite go-to order is the bacon chicken ranch wrap and a Rowdy Ronda! Do not be turned away when there are lots of cars outside because there is more seating available than you think, and the service is quick.
We came in on a road trip. Our son looked up best food in Jamestown and this is one of the restaurants that came up.
Food was delicious: we got the poutine (delicious), Condor burger (very good), chicken tender melt (great), the steak wrap (also very good, could use a little more steak), and the cowboy bowl (very savory, hearty, and gravy was so good).
Service was great, attentive, courteous, and prompt.
