Just passing through back to Saskatchewan and made a quick stop for pancakes for the kids. The best cafe we have ever been to. The food was amazing, the atmosphere and the servers. A huge shout out to the one older server who made our little girl feel comfortable with her injury on her head that she got staying at a hotel on a waterside on our little vacation. She gave her a hug and showed our little girl her scar on her forehead and shared her story making her feel not so alone....
Breakfast before departing back to Minnesota.
Solid atmosphere if you like trains without being overwhelming, and while they keep to the theme they aren't 110% about it.
Menu was a solid hit of Americana, 3-egg omelets and biscuits and gravy and country fried steaks.
I had the Philly Cheese Steak omelet while my wife and daughter had Denvers.
$5 for hash browns/American fries seems a bit steep but...

After discovering Depot Ramen just yesterday, my husband and I had to stop by and give it a try. The breakfast Cafe ends at 1pm. I've always enjoyed the breakfast and the ramen was great as well. They start serving at 2pm until 7pm currently. The noodles were firm, the broth was savory, and the pork was tender. We both left very satisfied. I chose the tonkatsu and my husband had the red depot (spicy tonkatsu).
